We went to a Jewish festival today and my 5-year-old son got a small shofar. The rabbi made a beautiful sound from it, but we weren't able to get any sound from it. We are going to try again and practice thanks to your video! I'm excited to worship God this way and yes, to caste out demons! Amen!
There is an Australian Rabbi who shows you how to make a sound on a smaller shofar. It is completely different from blowing on a bigger shofar. You actually need to put the outside of your lip over it. I could easily blow the larger one but not the small one until I saw the Rabbi play. Now I have no problem playing the small one.
Wow! Just got my HalleluYah shofar this afternoon! Was able to make a sound the first time, can blow a Taqiya for about 10 seconds. So much fun! At 63, disabled and widowed, I'm so blessed to be able to blow it at all... actually to even have it after praying several years for one.

Yes! The Halleluyah Shofar brand is awesome! It took so many weeks and much prayer for the guidance of the Spirit. But then when the first itty bitty sound came out I was ecstatic! Yesterday I bought my hallelujah shofar, it looks exactly like yours and I had many doubts, because when I finally managed to get a sound out of it, it was very low, now I see that yours sounds the same.
The smell issue was also something that worried me, I'll try the coffee you suggest.
What I liked the most about your video was the way you mention about the work of the Holy Spirit.
Amen my brother! There’s very very few videos telling you how to play a shofar. It was just many prayers and much alone time with God then finally after the lip muscles formed after 30 mins a day with the shofar... now it’s much easier to get a sound out every time I bring it to my lips.
I just play one sound and blow as long as I can. It stills my soul and reminds me of how God gives us the breath of life to worship Him. I don’t know much else on how to blow different sounds though.
O and if the coffee clumps in your shofar I just used some sweet smelling soap and warm water and shook it inside the shofar covering both ends. Then I let it air dry for three days. No more clumps of coffee and it smells amazing, like coffee and fragranced soap.

Good night just look at the shofar Play She many things period when I hold it up with both hands to the sky it looks as though I am thanking G-d for the creation. When it is on a flat surface it appears to be a beautiful lady in repose
It looks like a perfect sine wave. In fact it looks like a sine wave three or even four dimensions.
With water being the perfect metaphor for spirituality, it looks like a wave in the ocean.
Its colors, black and white, yin and yang, intermingle in a graceful fashion.

**For those that don't like the smell of coffee, I did the same process but with the "Dr.Teals pure epson salt" that came in a lavender scent. They do offer othe scents like mint or eucalyptus that may be more refreshing as well. Whenever my shofar gets musty i let it sit a few days and it perks it back up to freshness.

To care for the smell, I saw a video of a woman showing how she uses a soap with Thieves oil blend to aid with cleaning the microbial growth that causes smell. She also uses burning frankincense to permeate the inside of the horn. Does it twice a year. I tried and it was super helpful.

Wow - that's a beautiful, joyful noise you're making! All the minute details you provided were SO helpful. Also - learning it took you 3 weeks was encouraging! I've gotten a few seconds of sound a couple times - but duplication seems to be very random LOL I've had it a couple days, and need to have more patience with myself.

The Shofar is an amazing work of G-d and of nature, not saying that the two are mutually exclusive of horse when I look at the Shofar I see a number of things. When I hold it up with both hands to the sky, it looks as though I'm holding a newborn baby ingratitude period when I have it on a flat surface it looks like hey beautiful lady in repose its colors are the gentle interaction of Yin and Yang. It appears like a perfect sine curve in three dimensions. It could even be four dimensional looking at it, it looks like a portion obey Mobius strip and it looks like a portion of an infinity sign
I bought mine 2 days ago. I'm called and ready. HE led me here. Thanks for the tutorial. Luckily I got a sound out but mine is a High Pitch noise... not rich like yours but mine's short. Anyway, thank you and I don't think the angels were laughing at you I'm pretty sure all of the heavens enjoy watching a disciple of GOD learning with the Ruach to play the Shofar. Have a blessed day. I had no idea, shofars cast out demons. I just got mine but it’s smaller from Ohev Shalom from Israel but I should of waited to get a bigger one. Lol 😂 I see what you mean about the smell, it smells like feet! lol Shalom and keep walking in faith sista ❤️💜✝️✡️💜❤️

Thank you so much 🙏I loved every bit of your video. I started to play the didgeridoo, but got the call to play the shofar instead. I have not received it yet, and I assume I will go through exactly the same challenges. For the didge to get a better seal on the mouth piece, they use bees wax. A bit softer and you can shape it to your lips to form a better seal. I made my own didge with bamboo. The shofar will be smaller jole I guess. And so you have options to match the hole to your mouth 👄 😁💪📯
