I keep the inside clean and my man keeps the outside clean
Video ideas: getting your kids to cooperate with helping around the house, getting your kids to stop arguing with you and just listen to the parent, any sort of tips for single parents ( not sure if you have single parent friends but maybe ask them for tips if you do), just more parenting stuff in general. I love your content!!
You remind me of my mother. Always active, completely organised, had 6 children too yet managed so easily. It is beautiful to watch how close you all are, how you all help out. Ahhhhhh brings back some of my own childhood. Wishing you well and praying for you all. 🤗 hugs.
I use two dish brushes, too! Ikea dish brushes are my favorite. I'll grab two different colors. Once the "cleaning" brush starts getting yucky, it becomes the new "crud brush" and I pull out a new $1 brush for my new cleaning brush!
I purchased a steam mop on Jordan’s recommendation and it’s changed my life! I love being able to easily mop the floor. Everything is better with a clean kitchen floor!
Would love to see how you and your kids keep their clothes organized in their rooms. How you may prevent them from tossing clothes on the floor. Also how you organize seasonal clothing changes and or size changes.
I used to have a Rug Doctor and cleaned floors constantly with it due to having dogs. However, I have found an AMAZING hack for those problem spots. You gently mop up any excess of the nasty and then soak it with a mixture of half vinegar/half water. I keep this in a spray bottle. Then I apply a solid layer of baking soda over the entire stain. If you have kids/dogs who will disrupt it you can put a box or a baking pan over it so that they don't mess with it. After a few days and once the entire thing has dried out completely you see how the combination pulls up all the nasty into the baking soda! Amazing! You just sweep up the excess and then vacuum. We have a shop vac that works great for the clumps too. With really bad spots and lighter carpet I have had to repeat but it gets the job done. This also works for mattress spots and on furniture.
Yes! I have 2 dish scrubbers too. I like those plastic ones bc I just throw them in the dishwasher a few times a week. Microfiber cloths will change your life!!! You gotta get the disposable Clorox toilet scrubbers. 🙌🏽
My job is taking over my life right now I am working 17 hr. days and in my free time between work family and home I have been watching you. Freakin’ magic erasers!!! This is ESSENTIAL for any household with kids!!! And they don’t have them here in Scandinavia... so obviously we stock our suitcases full every time we go the States, like complete weirdos. 🤓🥳
Jordan Page, FunCheapOrFree Yeah, just don’t tell anybody. Heading to the States in a couple of months and we don’t want any trouble going through customs. 🤣
My husband is an appliance Repair Technician and Jet dry is a must your dishwasher will not work right without it. Always always use jet dry. So glad you use it.
Being in the cleaning community I have heard of the e-cloths, I need to check into them. I am a cleaning product junkie, but I really like using more natural cleaning products. I do use more chemical cleaners for deep cleaning. Clorox wipes are life!!!! My Shark steam mop & Dyson vacuum are legit!
Buy a bissell crosswave!!!!! Vacuum washes drys in one go, works so well! I’m a NEAT FREAK with 4 kids 4 indoor cats and an indoor dog.... my floors are spotless. I’ve had 3 steam mops and countless other floor cleaning contraptions and the bissell crosswave will change your life!!! Buy one
Magic erasers are actually a microabrasive pad. It gets rid of stains and things on surfaces by FULLY REMOVING the smallest top layer of anything you rub with it. Really you shouldn't use them on anything that you can't use sandpaper on.
I’d love a video about how you use up your food before a vacation (or a move)! I mean I’m sure you’re already a QUEEN at this so we need to hear your tips and tricks!!
I use a combination of vinegar and blue dawn to clean my shower because of the glass doors. You spray it on and leave it for a while and then everything just scrubs right off!! I use the blue pot scrubbers not the green ones so it won't scratch the glass.
I’m so glad to watch this video. I use two sponges in the sink and some people think I’m weird. I also never use the same cloth/wipe for the toilet and or countertops. Bleach wipes clean the toilet then into the trash. Thanks.
When you were spraying the lysol. Lol lost it. That was hilarious. Thank you for the video! I just recently broke down and got clorox disposable toilet wand.... Holt crap that thing works. It gets under the lip of it. I had been cleaning it with the brush but with the wand I got grimey stuff out from under that lip. Water had sat there and I couldn't reach it with the brush. Love it.
I love my disposable toilet wand! It works so well and honestly I find toilet brushes gross. But if I had 8 people using the toilet instead of 1 I may think differently
That is the one secret Jordan hasn't shared yet - where do you get your energy!!? With 6 kids and 2 on the way, a large house, vlog, blogs, a husband and other stuff, you are always energetic and enthusiastic. How on earth do you manage? I wish I only had 10% of your energy.
I swear by Maker's Clean microfiber clothes, and I use the diy recipes for cleaning products that the Clean My Space youtube channel recommends, since I'm allergic to pretty much anything else🤷♀️
I just ordered my first Maker‘s microfiber clothes. Can‘t wait for them to arrive! 😍 I love Melissa and Jordan, they‘re my household and family duo here in TH-cam ❤️
Speaking of the microfiber cloths....is there anyone else out there who just can't stand the feel of them? I just can't do it. I feel like they find any picky, rough place on my skin and stick to it. They just give me the willies.
@@maxw1346 true. At least something like a paper towel would like degrade eventually? I guess when it comes to cleaning it's sometimes tricky to stay sustainable but have easy & sanitised options. She's doing good with all the microfiber clothes tho! My family will NOT switch from paper towels for everything instead of a towel and it drives me crazy!!
Jordan: "My baby just started crawling so I'm super crazy about my floors." Me: *looks over at my baby eating a banana he's thrown on the floor 3 times already* "I swept it yesterday. Close enough."
I would love to see a video on how you find deals on Costco, Amazon, etc. Like all the ones you mentioned in this video. How do you look for deals? When do things go on sale? How do you know you’re getting a good deal?
Jordan... the steam mop is a game changer! I know what’s going on my Christmas list! I make my own cleaning sprays too... anything that saves money is my jam!! Lol 👍
How Debbie Saves I bought a steam mop/vac. It simultaneously vacuums and steam mops. It’s the best. I have a dog and a cat and two kids... I usually sweep first to get the majority but pet hair tend to still flurry around. Honestly the steam mop vac always gets up so much extra dirt/hair- it’s a little embarrassing.
I used to have a steam mop but now I have a Bissell Crosswave that vacuums while it mops...and it is so much better! I no longer have to vacuum before I mop and I don't feel like I am just pushing the crumbs around 🥴 Sam's Club sells them for a great price!
Would like to see videos on how you implement all these great things with your children and also a video on meal prep like what you make in bulk for the week (not just freezer) and how long it lasts for.
Clorox wipes for the toilet! Why have I not thought of this!!! I keep a stash of holey old washclothes just for my toilets...Clorox wipes will find their way into my cabinet this weekend!!!
@@dawandabocanegra8935 I spray with a bathroom cleaner, but wipe it down with paper towels & flush them. I agree, that anything that touches the toilet shouldn't be reused.

While I'm here with 3, headbanging the wall (not literally...well maybe sometimes), trying to keep up with demands and not jump out of a cliff every single day! Thank you for the useful info but most of all thank you for the laughs! I needed those! Love you
I definitely use the vinegar and water mix sometimes when I have to wipe up something sticky. Great tip about the microfiber cloth for the windows. I’ll have to try that!
I just have to say that getting a Robot Sweeper changed my life. For REAL. I have a Roomba, but I know there are other good brands. I got mine for Christmas because it was a big investment that I couldn’t justify, but not only do I love it, my kids love it too. Sweeping is their chore so they have it a little easier and I have to nag a lot (like a ton) less. It also encourages me to pick things up before I sweep. The house is cleaner AND tidier. 👍🏼
This was super helpful :) I love your vlogs, I just like hanging out! In terms of video ideas, have you done one about how often you clean or your annual schedule of household tasks? Like you just mentioned you get the carpets professionally once a year, I'd love to know how often you do deep cleaning / window washing / etc. :)
The E-Cloths are a game changer. I switched over while trying to be more eco friendly. I hardly use paper towels at all anymore. Perfect for cleaning up the kitchen after cooking and cleaning the bathroom as they pick up germs. They are easy to wash too. Just don't use scent beads or fabric softener with them as it can screw up the absorption. If you do though, wash them alone on hot and it will fix them up.
Swiffer makes a steamer. The pads have essential oil on it so it disperses a scent while it literally melts everything off the floor and senitizes. Love it.
I want to say thank you. One day i watched your video about invorty your freezer and reighforator. I kinda do the same but i have a year binder. Its a binder that i planned meals and budget. So when i went shopping for my foodstamps for the month. Then today when i went back to get some milk and just few things. I got a califlower pizza and it was plain. I cooked it first then put whatever i had in the house in the refrigerator to make my pizza. It works. So thank you so much for your organization service. Congrautions on having twins.
Video ideas! Nursery prep, pregnancy, and nesting videos! What products are tried and true, gadgets etc! Love watching your videos that have so much tried and true wisdom!
Linden Peters I don’t get a residue when mixed with vinegar nor castille soap. I use it for the scent in the vinegar and I get scent free castille soap. It’s purely for the scent I like when cleaning.
I bought that floor sweeper after I saw you use it and it is my favorite thing I've ever bought to clean with. My 5 and 3 year old kids can use it after dinner to pick up their messes.
I put my dish soap in a spray bottle. One part dish soap to 9-10 parts water. Tip: don't breathe in when you spray. It puts the soap right where you use it and the dish soap lasts a really long time instead of getting globbed into the sink/on to the dish and then going down the drain or drying out all over the soap bottle. Also love our Dyson! We bought it refurbished off of Amazon about 14 yrs ago. I've replaced the hose twice. Parts are easy to find and it has saved us so much money because we were having to purchase a new vacuum almost every year. We have 6 kids and 2 cats. If it ever dies, I'm holding a memorial service.
My husband and I own a cleaning company. We do it all and you are defiantly rite about sprays ruining carpet. Carpet shampooers are just as bad. We use our little bissel spot cleaner for little spots on furniture and in the car. It's an awesome little invention that keeps us from having to break out the heavy duty carpet steamer every time one of the kids makes a mess.
Going to get the microfiber cloths and the rumba is on my Christmas list!😉 I would love a video on your van ( why did you choose that one, what are you changing to fit the twins?) We need one but hate car shopping.😯
Hi Jordan, I would LOVE to see ur suggestions on what to keep or store away when your kids grow up. I have a Toddler now and planning on another in the future, what is worth keeping over time until a new kid comes? ❤❤❤
Mother of cactus They make ones that they sell in the car isles and fun ones for washing cars, but they are good at picking things up for cleaning too! They are sold as kitchen, bathroom, car, etc. it’s always good to just make sure nothing has been added to the car ones if you use them in the kitchen or on your face. :)
To clarify, the e loths do not kill bacteria. It just traps it and doesn't transfer it to another surface. It can last for several years when properly washed and cared for. I prefer the brand znorwex that she mentioned (i do jot sell it but know people that do) and it has silver in the cloth that purifies the cloth as it dries. I have literally had the same few cloths for almost 3 years. I also use barely any paper towels. The only things I don't wipe with them is bacon grease because it will clog the fibers.
I saw when you first got those pink gloves that you use in the shower and you weren’t sure what they were for and I never thought of using them for that. I always saw them advertised for dishes but that’s honestly so smart!!!!
It used to work on our giant Texas sized roaches, they didn't even have time to flip over. Now they reformulated it, so it just makes them angry and drunk 😣
There are so many things that you use that I do too! I bought one of the mega packs of microfiber clothes from Amazon. My thinking...heck if they’ll clean someone’s car that well (and no one I know cleans their car that often) then my house is going to SPARKLE! I’m going to get some of those e-cloths for sure. Mr Clean Erasers are truly magically too. I got one years ago when my oldest daughter decided to write all over her dresser with pencil. There I was 8 months pregnant with my now 21 year old thinking I’ll be there for days with an eraser. I got that Mr Clean Eraser as a sample in the mail...thought, ‘What the heck, I’ll give it a try!’ And here I am. Thanks for the many tips and links! God bless you and yours!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Traci Sanders Yeah but it can mess up the rubber seals and void your warranty if it still applies
IV been using vinigar in my dishwasher for years as a rinse aid no problem at all! From australia
Good to know. Thanks.
Thank u
Video ideas: getting your kids to cooperate with helping around the house, getting your kids to stop arguing with you and just listen to the parent, any sort of tips for single parents ( not sure if you have single parent friends but maybe ask them for tips if you do), just more parenting stuff in general. I love your content!!
You remind me of my mother. Always active, completely organised, had 6 children too yet managed so easily. It is beautiful to watch how close you all are, how you all help out. Ahhhhhh brings back some of my own childhood. Wishing you well and praying for you all. 🤗 hugs.
Thank you!
I use two dish brushes, too! Ikea dish brushes are my favorite. I'll grab two different colors. Once the "cleaning" brush starts getting yucky, it becomes the new "crud brush" and I pull out a new $1 brush for my new cleaning brush!
Yes!!!
I do This.
I purchased a steam mop on Jordan’s recommendation and it’s changed my life! I love being able to easily mop the floor. Everything is better with a clean kitchen floor!
For rinse aid in dishwasher, i use 1 cup vinegar poured at bottom. Sparkly clean
I agree with the no rags on the toilet. I use either paper towels and spray of choice or Clorox wipes.
It's been wonderful getting some very good helpful answers to some of my problems and it's taking some of my stress away so, I wanted to say thank you for being here for me these days when it seems I need you. and P.S. I totally love you good luck with the twins I'm holding you in my prayers.
Freakin’ magic erasers!!! This is ESSENTIAL for any household with kids!!! And they don’t have them here in Scandinavia... so obviously we stock our suitcases full every time we go the States, like complete weirdos. 🤓🥳
HA! Magic Eraser smugglers. 🤣 I'm dying! Love it!
Jordan Page, FunCheapOrFree Yeah, just don’t tell anybody. Heading to the States in a couple of months and we don’t want any trouble going through customs. 🤣
@@RealOrganized I don't know if this will help but we have them in the UK. X
@@khoo7732 It will. We are going to the UK next week. Thanks!
@@RealOrganized lucky coincidence. I think Flash is the main brand that make them but I've used different and they all do the job 👍
My husband is an appliance Repair Technician and Jet dry is a must your dishwasher will not work right without it. Always always use jet dry. So glad you use it.
OOOH good to know! Thank you!
You need the bissell cross wave. Sweeps and mops at the same time has saved me life.
Buy one
Canadian fans represent!
I use magic eraser while in the shower. No chemicals and it removes everything.
Yeah I was doing that too... and took all the finish of my shower. It stains worse than ever now. 🙁👎🏻
#MsLaurenV my tub absolutely sucks then.
Magic erasers are actually a microabrasive pad. It gets rid of stains and things on surfaces by FULLY REMOVING the smallest top layer of anything you rub with it. Really you shouldn't use them on anything that you can't use sandpaper on.
Full of chemicals!
@@catharineinniss9906 actually they are not full of chemicals, though they do have some chemicals. It's mostly a microabrasive.
Love it.
Just keepin' it real! 🤣
@@jordanpagecompany lol
Mim will be giving these a try - thank you!
I love my disposable toilet wand! It works so well and honestly I find toilet brushes gross. But if I had 8 people using the toilet instead of 1 I may think differently
@@simple_naildesigns you're welcome! I love them. I hope you do too.
I'm convinced you've got 8 more hours in a day.....😂
Anne right?! 🙌🏻❤️
I was literally just thinking the same thing.
Yes
I agree!
My four year old wants to know: “Is it even POSSIBLE to live under a rock?” (Re: microfiber). 🤣
That's some serious critical thinking from a 4 year old :P
Speaking of the microfiber cloths....is there anyone else out there who just can't stand the feel of them? I just can't do it. I feel like they find any picky, rough place on my skin and stick to it. They just give me the willies.
Oh, I just typed my comment before seeing that others have the heebie jeebies with microfiber. Thanks, now I see I'm not alone.
"If something touches my toilet, I don't ever want to see it again" AMEN SISTER! I use the wipes for my toilet too, for the exact same reason.
Same!
Same
This is 'single use plastic' as that's what the cloths are made of, convenient but not eco friendly
Same I won't use anything else.
E-cloth is a product of the century, love💕
Jordan: "My baby just started crawling so I'm super crazy about my floors."

"I swept it yesterday. Close enough."
LoL!
😂😂😂
#AsgleyPenn so your baby eats stuff off the floor?
@@christinab.2864 Yep.
#ashleyPenn so got you a cleaning machine that’s so cheap.
Yes I use Clorox disinfecting wipes too.I don't want to reuse anything that has touched my toilet
@@dawandabocanegra8935 I spray with a bathroom cleaner, but wipe it down with paper towels & flush them. I agree, that anything that touches the toilet shouldn't be reused.
iloveperfume I have always heard that it is bad to flush paper towels because they do not break down like toilet paper. It can clog your drains.
@@sassypants7536 I do that, but never flush paper towels! I have a septic system.
The Ginger Snaps thanks for the advice! They were going down ok, so I figured it was all good. I’ll throw them in the trash from now on :)

Thank you for the useful info but most of all thank you for the laughs! I needed those! Love you
Jesus is the answer 💜
I definitely use the vinegar and water mix sometimes when I have to wipe up something sticky.
Great tip about the microfiber cloth for the windows. I’ll have to try that!
Love from Canada! Please do a medicine/get better cupboard video. How do you deal when the house is sick? What items do you keep on hand? thx!
This was super helpful :)
I love your vlogs, I just like hanging out!
In terms of video ideas, have you done one about how often you clean or your annual schedule of household tasks? Like you just mentioned you get the carpets professionally once a year, I'd love to know how often you do deep cleaning / window washing / etc. :)
Also would like to see this video Jordan!
I totally clean the shower while I’m in it...such a good tip
My Roomba was my FAVORITE Christmas gift last year! I LOVE THAT THING!
You can cut the Magic Erasers into smaller sections too 😃👍
Swiffer makes a steamer. The pads have essential oil on it so it disperses a scent while it literally melts everything off the floor and senitizes. Love it.
Use vinegar in the rinse compartment in your dishwasher, it leaves glass spotless & no chemicals!
THuff but it makes everything smell 😷 I’ll stick to using finish.
Actually, the smell evaporates. I use it every night in my dishwasher.
I found your channel yesterday, and boy are you making my life easier already LOL
So glad you found us! ❤️
@@jordanpagecompany I am as well, keep up the great work!❤
I am in Canada and I have used E-Cloths for years now. They sell them in Wholefoods. They are brilliant and only use water.
Another awesome video! Thanks Jordan. Hope all is well. You look great! Have a blessed day 😊
Video ideas! Nursery prep, pregnancy, and nesting videos! What products are tried and true, gadgets etc! Love watching your videos that have so much tried and true wisdom!
I buy a giant white vinegar from Costco just for cleaning uses! Great for hard water stains instead of jetdry and adds a extra disinfect to dishes.
Swiffer floor mop is my most used cleaning tool. I use it for everything. Floors, showers, mirrors walls. Try it it will change your life.
You can clean almost anything with Apple Cider Vinger+ Castille Soap & Natural Oils.
Allie82386 but how do u do it so it doesn’t smell bad? Every time I’m cleaning with vinegar it’s unpleasant to smell
@@lefille562 you can add 10 drops of lavender essential oil to help with the smell. And the vinegar smell disappears when it dries
You can add citrus oils to vinegar too. I love castille unscented and add basil EO in it. So fresh!
Oils smell good, but they leave residue which builds up. They also do not disinfect unless used full strength, and why would anyone do that.
That clip of you spraying the bathroom at 7:50 still makes me laugh 😂
Loved it because it was so unexpected and the one of her singing while her son is dancing with the mop
Your crushing it even while pregant with twins! So inspired.
Try a Roborock less $$$ and it mops too.
Hi Jordan, I would LOVE to see ur suggestions on what to keep or store away when your kids grow up. I have a Toddler now and planning on another in the future, what is worth keeping over time until a new kid comes? ❤❤❤
I been living under a rock. 😓I didn’t know about the microfiber cloths (I thought they were for cleaning cars )
Lol same here I have never used those to clean and now I want to try it.
Check out e-cloths before you invest in microfiber cloths. E-cloths eliminate the need for cleaning products. They kill bacteria with just water.
@@teresamathison4689 I'm new to this e-cloth etc... are they reusable, you know, like a sponge and then you throw it away after so long?
Does anyone else cut their magic erasers and cleaning sponges in half or in thirds? More bang for your buck!
Yes. The regular sized pad is too big for me. Not complaining!
I like the new sheets version!
I cut the magic erasers 😉
For sure, if I'm not cleaning all the things all at once (which I may do in a giant rage clean... Hello lockdown, this is my exercise)
Me on magic erasers only
A true role model. I swear I follow alot of your advice and it's a game changer.
Thanks for uploading during lunch break! 🤪
Jordan, you are always so much fun to watch. You make everything seem so achievable, it's really encouraging.
Aww thank you! I'm so glad you love watching!
I've shot the occasional spider with the Lysol too, when it's the only thing handy! :D
It used to work on our giant Texas sized roaches, they didn't even have time to flip over. Now they reformulated it, so it just makes them angry and drunk 😣
Shoot it with hairspray. It will make the bugs legs sticky together and in a few minutes it will be dead
