Solis is extremely satisfying to play when catching a droning attacker off guard. I've had some successful plant denial plays too and my mistakes have been to stay below/above after the first denial. Next op will plant differently so important to return to site and deny through a wall or just simply by peaking. Good vid, thanks!
I don’t see the problem with staying above the site as they can’t plant on an indestructible surface, because you can still see them. The only thing I could see happening is the plant underneath a concrete floor, but you can impact right beside it and shoot them. You could also quickly go down to site, as going down a floor is easier and faster in my opinion

Definitely Grim. I'd add to your idea though and say give him the Baliff as a secondary pistol and swap soft breach for hard breach gadget. Gives him his verticality still, while having more utility to bring. Other thing on his gadget is make it last longer. At least 10-15 seconds so cutting off an area ACTUALLY works.
I enjoy your breakdowns (saw this with your castle video). I help teach CQB (mostly BD6a I'm new) and relax playing siege time to time, it's clear you have experience. My instructors were scientific and assertive in their teaching style which I see here.
Grim's gadget should bounce on hard surfaces/barricaded walls, before releasing the swarm on the next surface giving it a way of getting around Azami barriers etc. Faster animation, and on soft surfaces it should bury into the surface and release both sides of the wall/floor for some verticality imo.
I think if they made grims device like a hive so you shoot out a beehive that has a cloud of ai bees he uses. It will have the same use to show locations of enemies. The hive would work similar to Nomads airjab and would be used to watch flanks. He can place it how he wants, but it can still be countered if the hive is shot out. It can also have maybe a small yellow mist to make defenders think if they want to go through that way. Forcing them to either waste utility, get seen or find another route. Operators like Vigil however if his device is on could still pass through the mist unnoticed for example or solis would see it all round. Also the bees would of course have a one time use.
Using Solis with smg and shotgun is good for late game and what I mean by that is use her smg in the begining of the round and taper off to a combo of shotgun and smg at the end as most attacker will have been damaged and if not you got a great tool set with the the shotgun and smg combo. Impact are very helpful too vs a surprise shield op pick and has won me lots of battles vs them. I solo most of my games so I haven't played her much like pulse. Valk and solis in duo to ensure I can actually be under where the plant push is otherwise I just wind up screwing around below a site for no reason
poxie uploads are the best. plus its christmas eve. even better solis only sucks when the quiet solo queue player takes her and immediately dies trying a runout.

Grimm should work the way I initially thought. His canisters could be shot and attached to walls and only go off with proximity. Used like a Nomad airjab as a flank denial. Walk through a door and the bee canister goes off getting you pinged

Honestly I think Zofia is now one of the worst Ops… The nerf killed her, her speed doesn’t complete with the gadget and the LMG is pretty much russian roulette now
why not making grim bees be able to "cluster" like Ying's and Fuze's utility? That could make it safer, and increasing the area could do, but even making the bees do a louder noise just to disturbs more defender hearing could help out, just tose 2-3 mods could buff him pretty well imho.

Some content creators get accused of cheating so that is one reason. It's easier to prove you're legit if you show exactly how you play. But other than that? A mouse cam isnt necessary.

I agree that Grim needs a buff. However I think a way he could be buffed that would make him more versatile is to make his bees do a little bit of damage. Not a ton, but enough to deter a site or location retake once control has been established by attackers. If it does about the same amount of damage as an attacker walking into an electric wall, I think that would be a bit more useful for him.
On the other hand, it could be transitioned into being more of a trap style like Nomad’s airjab. Only instead of being blown back, it marks them as if they’re Lion droned. So have his bees sit there on flank and it activates like a razorbloom or an airjab that alerts to a flank attempt.

Tbh only good counter I've found in plat lobbies against Solis is monty. whenever Solis would try to runout on me as Monty I usually would survive because my shield would protect me while I'm on my phone. Another thing that I realize that both have in common is being able to obtain live information. So Monty can add that same exact pressure Solis does to the attackers making her have to hop off her gadget to prepare for the incoming teammate that accompanies monty
Grimm is bad but I miss the f2 vert so much (I'm a console shitter) but i don't mind compromising for an angled grip or make the gun have lower dps but easier recoil. I love their gadget but I can't take long range gunfights for shit.
