Macie is by far the only R6 YT that taught me how to play smart when defending, like with pulse attacking through floors. Macie also inspired me to play Monty since I watched his older videos and I became a good Monty player. Glad to see that Macie is still doing all of this :)

Ngl, I think her loadout options work really well together. The P90 is really underrated. Taking advantage of that 50 round mag for heavy preform potential and the SMG 11 for a great back up.
As hoped, finally we get to watch someone use the endgame potential of Solis instead of all the other content creators just calling her a worse Pulse. Also an important thing about her runouts is that Solis knows for sure that the enemy is in a vulnerable state (droning / gadget out), while Pulse only knows the position.
That explains the reason for stealth you need to catch them in a position where they can provide the least danger to you or anyone assisting you in the task
They said pulse was bad in year 1 before macie showed what was possible with him. Them calling Solas a worse pulse was begging for this kinda response.
I dont know why people would call her a worse Pulse. Pulse's scan are... well, pulses and not constant real-time. Shorter range, very limited FoV, and long time to equip and put away. It also only sees the enemy and not anything else. Solis has a HEAP of advantages at the cost of having to use your ear and a bit your brain too to not wander into enemies, because you cannot directly see them. But she has an arguably better loadout, and impacts are almost as good as Nitro for the usual purpose of floorbombing. If anything, in my opinion she's a different, maybe a bit better Pulse. Especially for the higher-end of the playerbase.

But if you get some weird map, or you play solo, or enemies are just better in "normal" siege, I would consider picking all these weird operators to try taking the round or two by a surprise.
And top it off that floor breaks with impact and it cancels their plant, which imo kinda dumb, but sure whatever... While Pulse has a sure fire kill, it takes a while, Solis cancels or disrupts plant

When I was active in Siege I always watch MJ vids and learned a ton of stuff. I quit the game but now im back and Im rewatching MJ videos and Im STILL learning stuff
i think Solis should be able to use her gadget only three times, her gadget should be more like Lion’s. once she activates it, it should last between 5-10 seconds. during which, we can see the attackers with their gadgets moving in real time. from what Ive seen looking at Macie, is that her gadget lasts too long and the range is huge, it’s the whole map. also people are getting killed from the most random places because they are spotted quickly. I love Macie’s playstyle, but if yall cant see the huge advantage this gives players, theres a problem.

I look forward to playing this operator. Although in lower ranks people already don’t drone… this operator encourages players not to drone more. Hopefully they make droning stronger now that this operator is there to balance things
Man.....the times when i was nearing an ace but don't make one because of stolen kills /trap deaths are endless to me. When i think i aced it turns out to be 4 .... i know how u feel
so cool to finally get a new operator worthy of a whole video. azami was good too, even if a little more basic. kind of excited to finally have a reason to use p90 tho, never had a good reason to try to get good with it, mp5 was always the better option. obviously you make every operator look overpowered, but this op seems to change the pace of the game :D

4:44 someone explain what happened here to the OSA. He hits OSAs window and then almost a full second later OSA reacts to the hit after Solid has already fully recovered from the melee animation.
Osa does not react to a hit, at least not that I know. What she did there was putting her shield away. That was the animation; not a reaction to a hit but rather an action of putting it away.
I just feel like operators like this punish the tactical gameplay of droning and reward playing like it’s CoD, which was why I left. Because it feels like no one plays objective or tactful, it’s just who can react and shoot better just like every other FPS on the market.

Nope....for a first few week she will be banned cause this is siege community....but after that she will be useless...she will be close to sens in term of pick rate at the end of the season....she is extremely situational and those kind of operator don't do well in siege

Holy i watched a few solis videos of people saying its bad but how you actually player it looks like a very viable operator! i cant wait to testit when it comes out! =D , that last clip man, holy moly you outplayed him so badly, i dont think many people with the stress of the moment , would actually sit and think about the situation and analyse thats better not to engage the enemy.
seems like she'll be most viable in higher ranks when people are actively using drones and other utility that she can detect rather than in casual or lower ranked matches, where she'll mostly be used for breach denial. interesting op, might come back to siege for this season
Nope trust me I'm consistent plat/diamond and gotta fight my way out of silver now and she is still amazing. You can just spawnkill drones and than just hide in the rattiest angles and you get tons of free kills. In higher elo, as you said, she is even more usefull but lower elo she is a straight up menace

Sens' and IQ's gadgets are pretty good at overloading Solis' gadget. Hibana is similar, but a bit more limited in utility.
