I've been lusting after Sabres for a long time. EXCELLENT craftsmanship that really doesn't show in a video (though your video is superb) and I STRONGLY suggest if anyone out there is at a boat show you give their work a close inspection because it is flawless and clearly built with love of craftsmanship and pride.
What a great review!! I love the early shots of the boat underway in less than ideal seas. How a boat handles rough seas is such an important aspect of evaluating a boat. Long term care and ease of maintainance and repair is also an important consideration. Thank you for all this great information!!
You're describing this Sabre - and some other Sabre boats over the years - exactly right. What appeals here is a well executed Downeast style boat, magnificently built, in contrast to the zoomie acrylic-like styling of some Euro & USA express cruisers ....AND it's seaworthy. But could you reach those release bars for the overhead hatches? Looked like a stretch. I really was attracted to that belowdecks 'lounge' or 'office'. Clever but also homey.
Very nice boat for a couple to spend some days on the water. Not too big and not too small. Great craftmanship. I think that love seat is in a weird spot, but this might be a special option. Instead of the drawers underneath the grill I would go for a fridge. 1.4 million is a steep price, but the boat is handmade and solid.
I own a Sabre 42SE and couldn’t be happier with the product or the builder. But where is the promised test video of this 43? You should test with the 480 hp D650s.
He puts a link to it at the end of this walkthrough video. I’ll try attaching link here as well: th-cam.com/video/WG5nHIQJHJM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6casJ1hcRARhkzX2
I just struggle with the master being forward, the hull slap and noise when you're trying to sleep is sometimes just too much. Would have preferred the forward section opened up and a master midships, right in the quietest part of the board!
I was wondering if you know anything about Rockharbour Yachts? I was offered one and I’m really thinking about buying it. It will be for Mediterranean cruise with my wife and day trips with the daughters. Thank you
This boat has some great features but the price tag is outrageous for so few amenitites. You can buy vessels for half this cost that are well-kept and offer multiple private sleeping quarters, larger living spaces, larger galleries, 2 or more bathrooms, a fly bridge and much more!
@@EMarineMotorYachts 😂 The philosophy of use analogy “minivan vs Porsche” is cute-but the fact is you can easily get more for you money elsewhere; especially if you buy in the secondary market. The boat shown here is basically a weekend toy that offers a few creature comforts vs. many of the larger and far more impressive crafts that simply have more of everything. If I’m spending $500,000 on a boat, I expect to be able to take it around the great loop and spend a couple of weeks or longer on said vessel in comfort and style. There are quite a number offerings that can be had in this price class that offer exactly that.
@@bellerophon9116undoubtedly you can. You can also purchase great value furniture and cabinetry for your home at Ikea for a fraction of the price of having a custom cabinet shop or furniture builder create something of exceptional quality.
like the boat, but what's with you being in the shot all the time, i want to see the boat not you, talk yes but get the camera off yourself & point it at what we are here to see, love what you're doing as far as showing us what boats are available around the world ........................ but you have a fixation about seeing yourself. Thumbs down bud!
It's because I don't have a cameraman - i'm just handing the camera to the salesman so I need to guide them around as they generally have never done it before.
@@BoatLife_DansBoatLife I thought the review was awesome mate! Love the old school hull shape on this boat. I prefer wind power on my boats but this one caught my eye enough to watch your vid.

Excellent tour! Thank you!
Love the "office / lounge" idea...done by someone who uses a boat!

Love your videos, Dan! Great job!
Thanks so much!
Beautiful sedan. Thanks for your signature tour.
These are gorgeous boats
I love how you say to be careful walking toward the bow so you don't trip, and you did just that right after you said it LOL Glad you're ok
Your presentation is excellent 👍
Not a very good video. 90% of the video--he is in it! He loves being in the shots.
That's a very nice and well thought out boat
My father in law had one of these 20 years ago. It was a great boat.
You murdered a pillow when you put the hidden bed away😮
Great presentation Dan.
Hello Dan, amazing boat!!!
ONE Demographic will LOVE this! - Rich People 🙂- Very nice boat. Great review.

Very nice yacht, good video 👍
Beautiful and Well Designed!
Very smart looking boat. 👍❤️🇬🇧
Stainless drains on the marlin board! step on them in an Aussie summer, wow !!
Great walkthrough, I would add I’m glad I’m tall. The penalty I have to pay is hitting my head more often than you do Dave 👍🏻👍🏻
thanks for another great vid
No worries
Beautiful boat

A command bridge would make it grand
Thank me later guys. I requested this review😎
I really notice how Australians use the phrases "Just here" and "Just there".

Are able to include, price, speed and fuel consumptions in your clips?
Top schip🎉😊

No doubt! You can also buy a mini van for a fraction of the price of a Porsche

Love the layout! Whats the range?
Check out my sea trial video where I explain fuel flow and test in big waves
Where? HE-YA😂 loveit
How was that boat transported to Australia from the United States of America?
Below deck cargo in a big cradle to facilitate loading and shrink wrapped in plastic with all the water lines winterised for transport
Beautiful looking for my first live aboard 35/45ft about to retire 🙏🏼🇺🇸👮♀️🇺🇸🙏🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wish I could afford it and was 30 years younger.
Those helm chairs would make you feel 30yrs younger!
Americans love comfort and cat or Mtu power and the wider the better

Yeah the filthy rich demographic
Null as to the interior architecture. Good only for sitting a crowd.
I would say that it is just stupid.
I would say spelling crowd croud is stupid
@@Smokeyr67 Thank you for the remark. I corrected the misspelt word.
I couldn't imagine that you were the architect.
I guess this boat isn't set up for fishing at all. Just cruising around with a glass of wine. Yacking all the way.

This would be an amazing boat to run from Valencia to Palma
