Daal Tadka Ingredients:
1 cup yellow split pigeon peas (toor daal), boiled in 2 cups of water with 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp turmeric)
3 tbsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tbsp ginger, chopped
1 tbsp curry leaves
2 dried red chillies
3 green chillies, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Fresh coriander leaves
1/4 cup water
Tadka Ingredients:
2 tbsp ghee
1 tsp garlic, chopped
3 dried red chillies
1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
Fresh coriander leaves
Zeera Rice Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 small cinnamon sticks
1 black cardamom
2 bay leaves
2 green cardamoms
1 green chilli, slit
2 cups water
1 tsp salt
