      @@IOG2K sorry to hear that your assessment didn’t go so well. I haven’t done the PwC assessment, but generally game based assessments are quite difficult to prepare for. Do keep trying though as some of my friends have been rejected 3-4 times before receiving an offer from one of the Big Four.

    I was looking at some videos showing examples psychometric test, and I think some questions are tricky, it tricks the person. It's unfair to the candidate. Another thing, if they don't say what's the contents of test, it's tricking the person too. Example: if the test will have Math, English, and areas that will be covered, etc, they should say so, no giving surprise, instead, give opportunity to the candidate to refresh, to unrusty and get preparation. It's just like a runner, if he does not warm up in advance, he will have problem during the competition. I have seen military man start running and damaged the knees, no warm up in advance, thus injuries and loss. Although it's the military guy fault, if you know you will have a running test, should have start training, exercising months before to get the legs flexible.

    hello, in a selection for a banking back office, what would be the best behavior? also taking into account the propensity to work in a group (introversion / extroversion) and certainly the interest in leader characteristics More or less risk-taking? Thank you

    • @TEMSInfluence
      @TEMSInfluence  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would look at the company values and ways of working to determine this. You can do well being intro/extroverted, you just have to use it to your advantage. I think my assessment centre video may answer some of these questions!

      Hey Amanda, so sorry to hear that. Is it a certain type of test you’re not seeing much success in or is it just in general?

    • @callumtaggart9392
      @callumtaggart9392 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Youre not supposed to "pass" it. theyre used to rank you against other candidates. 70% of the questions speperate the top 50% of applicamts, the final 30% are to seperate the top 1%. Another thing they can look at is tenacity, they can see when you start to give up, do not give up. Keep on working the problems to answer them for the entire allocated time. Where most people will fall down is the next stage, behavioural question interviews.

    • @25MK

      @@TEMSInfluence EVERYTHING! Haha. 😅 Numerical, deductive and even verbal reasoning (I have a BA in English!!!), and the General Ability. I bought a test prep pack from Job Test Prep and even after studying, I felt like I was more confused. I had given up. However, after watching your video yesterday, you inspired me to just keep practicing!!! And that's what I've been doing and I seem to be getting better! My concern now is being able to do it all under such strict time limits! Hopefully the adrenaline kicks in and I'm able to remember everything!!!!!
