Hello, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for this video and your help, I recently passed a numerical assessment for a dream job and all of your video helped me, I’m one step closer to the dream thanks to you.
I’m 59 years old and haven’t got my certificates to provide from school as it was 43 years ago 😂 I need to brush up on my maths as I will be supporting students, I always found fractions very hard, even at my age I now get it, thank you so much! x
Excelente, thank you very much. This is very useful. However, I believe that in reasoning skill exercise 1 (1:28:05), it will be easyer to just divide the current share between the 2020 average. To make it faster, you just ignore decimals. The results are A=1.26, B=1.17, C=1.20 and E=1.14.. which are actually the increase if you transform them in % A= 1.26 which is 126%, which is an increase of 26%. Actually you just need to know which is the bigger, so no worries about the details.
That was an amazing video. I was embarrassed at first when I was sent a practice assessment for this job and I got abysmal marks. I slowly realized that is was percentages and ratios that I was not contextualizing properly in the questions. That and some financial terminology. I was slowly figuring things out, but your video helped me cut through days of self-discovery and point out what fundamentals I was missing. So many tools you showed I had begun to put together but I only have a few days to study before I have to take the real one so I was concerned if I'd be able to teach myself enough by then. It was like I was 8 years old learning math from my grandma again. Thank you for helping me to remember how fun it was to learn something new.
You explain everything so simple that it makes the problems seem easier. This is a great video and recommended many struggling with math to watch in general. 😊
Have been using ur website for a long time. The general layout and accessibility of the website is fantastic and the content is exceptional. The videos are very thorough and easy to understand and when paired with the exam questions and past papers available to exercise the skill, it excels in every aspect. I usually struggle to understand a topic even with the large variety of videos on youtube yet the videos you guys produce are the most helpful. I'm just dissapointed that not a lot of people know about MME. Thanks for your time and effort into the website and content!
Update: I watched this video twice to prepare for my United Nations GGST exam and passed with a high score on the numeric reasoning part. Thanks again!
Wow this is what I was looking for. Got a test coming up and pretty much all practice resources are paid. Bravo and thank you sir. My night of revision sorted ❤
bro .this video is amazing, i can't describe what I saw, it's really really helpful, I want to give you a million like, I will go and press like to all your videos to support you a bit
Thank you! This is very helpful. After searching the web for guides i think this is kinda all the tools needed to properly practice for any kind of numerical test.
Great Video. Helped me a lot for my interview. One thing to say, if people had patience to listen to your beautiful lecture, then your's would be the best video in this segment. Keep up your work. Love from India ❤
Amazing!! Its the ever vedio I have seen! I have assessment centre in due course and with this complete lecture, I am possitive I will pass it. Thanks ever soo much for this!
Hi, thank you for your question. The £180 is multiplied by 1.14 to get the 14% increase. This would be the same as doing 0.14 x £180 and then adding that to the £180. Both methods give the same answer, but the first can be done in 1 step instead of 2, and is quicker if you have a calculator. I hope this helps!
Thanks a lot, this is super useful. Just a quick question: on reasoning skills, question 3 (1:39:47): why do you multiply share prices by 60 and not by 120? (the question says he bought 60 shares of EACH one of the companies, so 60 for company A and 60 for company C, correct?).
it should have been 120 so this was his error. However the result would be the same either way as you are doing the same to the current value. So it wont alter the outcome but yes, you are correct.
First time in my life that i'm sad a mathematic course /lesson finished, you explain so well, calm, quiet and slowly... bravo!
couldn't agree more.. one of the best !
Thank you mate
I used yo work for AWE an now have finally got my foot in the door with RAF

Hi, in 30:50 why you wrote 1.14 instead 0.14?
