    Pymetrics Games are games that are supposed to help employers understand what soft skills you have. According to studies, they are better indicators of job performance than resumes, grades, and applications.
    In this video, I tried applying to JP Morgan's Investment banking job, where I had to take a Pymetrics Game, just for fun.
    I show you how I prepared in 5 steps:
    0:00 What are Pymetrics Games
    0:30 How Pymetrics Work (1/5)
    3:41 Research Soft Skills (2/5)
    5:30 Practice Brain Games (3/5)
    8:11 Distraction-Free Environment (4/5)
    9:34 Take the Pymetrics Test

      It depends on your day to day responsibility and/or industry! But in my opinion, yes! The higher level you are, the more opportunities you'll have to make risky choices to reap the rewards!

    Please I have a question : there is a chapter in the Pymetrics test where you have to choose an emotion based on a face, but for some of theme there is a text too.
    My question is : do I have to take care about the text or only the picture ?
    (Sorry for my english I'm French)

    • @independentconsultant
      @independentconsultant  2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I remember this question! When they give you both image and text, make sure to read the text carefully because the image can be misleading. So you need to take both into account

    You're really telling on yourself in this video. "Soft skills can't be learned in a day or two", yet your method is to go on google, figure out what "soft skills" (aka horoscope bullshit) you need to fit into your job, and then basically bullshit your way to being a corporate fit.
    These tests are compliance tools, plain and simple.
