I just watch the original version about a couple hrs ago and said, "Man when is Halcyon going to release the raw version." Then the video pops up in my recommendation/notification list. This is nicee. Where do you place the mic in the car for a mixture of both engine and exhaust notes. (In the car roller sequences )
thanks! they were recorded separately, and i had him drive the same route in a similar fashion to mix them together properly. his engine bay is shaved so there was plenty of room to suction cup the mic in there.

Sounds like un-equel length headers into the turbo (subi style) while a gimic you cant deny the sound is awesome...
How do you give it such a deep tone, sounds so good and not like a fart can.
A turbo with a quality exhaust does that
Unequal length headers
honestly a 3 inch exhaust & a good muffler will get you as close to deep sounding on a 4cyl that you can get being N/A
not having a dump pipe lol
