      with frame is definitely easier. because all you would be doing is moving all the parts from your old frame like the battery, motherboard, cameras etc all over to the new frame and reassembling it compared to having to pry the screen off from the frame as well and applying new adhesive and re applying the screen to the frame etc.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, thank you :) . It shouldn't be hard. The back would need to be removed, then the 3 screws on top portion of the phone holding the top plastic cover would need to be removed and then the top plastic cover comes off giving you access to the front facing camera and cable. The copper tape would need to be peeled back to be able to disconnect and remove the front facing camera then you would have access to cleaning out that area if the glue has not hardened to a point that is not coming off. Service center should be able to do it.

      @PBKreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Have you checked to see if the phone is not frozen? (holding down the volume down key and power button for 30 seconds to see if it will reboot) If that doesn't work and considering the phone does power on and just has no display, its possible there is a hairline crack in your display somewhere that you can't see which may be preventing the screen from working if you have dropped it. Aside from that, the only other thing I can think of is liquid damage. If the phone wont power on at all then it might be a battery or charging issue.

    • @PBKreviews

      You would need to make sure the plastic pieces covering the board and top/bottom of phone are screwed down properly and in place. Those have some antenna lines drawn through them. If still no luck, you would need to check and make sure the main board is seated properly and all cables are in place and have not come undone. The frame of the phone also has antenna lines and contacts which the board and other components touch to make contact. Also there is a small board on the top right of the phone which is an antenna assembly as well, make sure that is in place as well and cable has not been disconnected.

    what should be the temperature to loosen the battery adhesive and which will not harm battery?

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Since there are pull tabs, you don't need to heat it up. Only reason I did was I did not want to peel off the adhesive tabs permanently because I was just taking the battery off as a demonstration and want to leave the pull tabs for future use. However if you plan on doing it that way, its always safer to use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun since its not as hot and the heat is more spread compared to central area. All you need to do heat up from the screen side a bit to warm the adhesive underneath the battery and you can heat up the battery side gently as well. Doesn't need to get too hot, just warm it up to make it easier to pry off. Hope this info helps.

    Why does my Xiaomi ( the same phone used in the vid) drain much more battery? I thought its going to be much more longer bcs it has a large battery.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on what apps you are running, how much load you put on the processor etc. If you have a bunch of apps open in background it can drain the battery.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need to make sure when you are putting new adhesive, you have a secure seal all around. Usually battery doors come with the adhesive pre installed to use. You would probably need to take off the back panel again and clean out the dust and then re apply new adhesive all around and put it back on.

    Doctor how are you, I have my xiaomi mi note 10 lite, I had a problem with the charging flex of the cell phone, it charged fast but in seconds it changed to normal charge and so it happened, then it stayed in normal charge and never in fast charge , buy a new charger and only do the normal charging, which could be done since in your video the charging connector is built into the board

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, it might be possible that the charging IC chip on the main board went bad preventing fast charge from working or something related to the charger port itself. I don't know too much about soldering but it would require most likely a solder expert to be able to replace the charger port or the IC chip.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not sure what you mean? if its off its supposed to be black. But if its always black and not displaying anything, can be many things. A hairline crack somewhere in the screen after a drop making the screen not work, or phone might be frozen (have you tried doing a manual reset by holding power and volume key down at same time, its different method for every phone) , can also be liquid damage or bad display chip. You would need to narrow it down one by one to see the issue.
