Downside to a mounted Starlink would be trees. At least with a unit that can be moved you can get away from trees. I see them actually coming out with a wireless unit that no longer requires wires, and has a anti theft component as well.
How are you Obsidians performing? What Watts/Amps are you seeing? Some folks have said they are really sensitive to shading---any feedback on that issue? Thank you.
In think they work great. Though I have no previous experience to compare them to. They always provide the amount of wattage the batteries require to stay topped off. I am adding a fourth panel this coming week, to give us 360 Watts of Solar.
Warranty is from date of purchase, not date of manufacture. I understood that you shouldn’t parallel panels of different designs such as mixing Legacy and Obsidian panels?
What is the harm in parallel solar panels of different design, please explain, I have not come across this guidance. It is watts, at 12Vs, they are contributing to the watts going to the solar controller, I do not think the solar controller is prejudice on what model of panel it gets it from. Please explain further. Thank You.
