NOTE RVR DR2-001 at 3minutes 20 seconds, as I understand the one and only DR2 under floor diesel built by RVR approximately 1966, I think there is a picture of it still in use in 2004. Does any one have more information? I have been told that RVR DR2 -01 is a different configuration to RVR DR2-001- the original. which did not have a centre door. Any information would be much appreciated due to rarity of DR2

@@jamessmith2676 the AR-2 is a railcar that was built as a new vehicle, it has two exemplars, one is at Latvian Railroads other belongs to Lithuanian Railroads (the AR-02 one), the DR2 was written of long ago and mostly scrapped, as the result of it being built in one exemplar with no spare parts, resulting short exploitation time. @@jamessmith2676 there wasn't so much going on, they were just testing new equipment on their more or less the same trains. The only interesting train i can tell of is DR6 which actually was DR6-250 if i am not mistaken that was sold for bananas to Kuba, and then no-one knows what happened to it there, it was operating there and when and how was it gone no-one has an idea. The other interesting train was DR1-168 which has an interesting look from the outside and had different equipment, it was standing for a loong time in the depot that is not far away from my house, and then it was all scrapped in 2012-2014 sadly, but photos are still there on Trainpix, don't think so i know something more interesting about things that were happening on here.
