About Jinn: The Word Jinn means Hidden in Arabic as they are hidden from human eyes. Jinn is a different type of creation that also have free will like a human. Angels are made of light and Jinns are made of fire. They move faster than us and they live longer than us. They can take any form except the prophets.
About Iblis,
we believe he was responsible for the departure of Adam and Hawa (Eve).
Little History from the Quran:-
Iblis was a very pious Jinn who prayed with angels in the heavens. But when Allah commanded him to prostrate the new creation (Adam) he refused to do so. Because Adam was created from clay and he was from the fire. So, he was the first racist. He thought fire has clear advantages over clay but what he doesn't know is that Adam has something called a brain. And using our brain we can control fire. But Iblis didn't get that. He also refused to ask forgiveness, ask certain powers and time limits over Adam So that he can misguide humans. After that he tricked Adam and They both get expelled from heaven and bound to live on the earth for a certain time.
Iblis's Goal: Although Iblis is pretty scary in appearance, his goal is not to frighten you but to influence you to do inhuman things. He just wants some company when he goes to hell. He has a certain influence over our thoughts. He's the one who is responsible for most of the crimes on earth. He also targeted all the prophets. Tried to kill them but failed miserably. Lots of interesting stories about that.
We believe, Mohammed (Sal.) is the last prophet. So now his target is religious scholars. But as Allah said, he will have no influence over a true believer.
As the prophet Mohammad is the last of the prophet, he gave us a lot of knowledge and supplication about protection from Satan. We have supplication when we sleep, when we go to the toilet, when we go to bed, even when we met with our wife, also when we travel and lot more than that.

That door knock at 42:12 is legit the most crisp door knock I've ever heard through my earbuds. And it just so happened that I was focusing on work with TH-cam playing in the background, and I naturally turned my head to the sound. Mad props to whoever did the sound design man!

I don’t know what they’re called but he has these styrofoam walls attached all around his room to muffle the sounds to the outside, he used it a long time ago when he played in a closet so I’m assuming he still has them now

42:05 The knocks felt like in real life and I literally paused the video and checked my front door and when I realized there was no one there, I questioned my sanity lmao. I got a little peace of mind when I went back a little bit and figured that the knocks were in game. The devs did some quality audio design for this game ;) Love it
Yea, I paused the video too. I was home alone and really hoped that knocking came from the video. I played it again and seriously thought someone knocked again... lol. I had to slow down the video to make sure the knocking slowed down as well...

I love watching horror game walkthroughs (i don’t play, i’m too scared to), but honestly this is the first game that made me feel legit anxiety all throughout. I don’t know if it’s bc i know it happened in real life, but i felt too uncomfortable and felt like my heart was going to pop out of my chest. This felt more like a movie more than a game. I really appreciate you Hollow for playing these games!
honestly as a Malaysian (a country) this mystic stories is very usual floating around our town and village folk. Here, there are a lot of that and similarly to this, this is exactly how it happened and how it went and go on to these people.
The frustration, the keep spinning in circle around the house, the i cannot find the key, and especially since we are muslim, quran recitation is almost always the way to deal with this, except at times, some of us may forgot it because of fear.
but these are all past us now. :)

Sound design is some of the best in any game I’ve ever heard. Does the ‘slow burn’ really well. A GENUINELY scary horror experience. A lot down to the realism I think.

Man you just gave me the chills. I remember back when i was a little boy. My Grandparents had a little house or shack in their garden. In that house they had this Painting of a small boy with some tears and pale blue eyes. With a orange kind of glow reflecting on his face. The painting always grabbed my attention and never could stop staring at it. Now years later by reading this comment and doing research it is that exact picture that i googled for. Absolutely terrifying thought. I wonder where that painting ended up going to after both my grandparents passed away.

Actually the thing he was reading at the start were 2 verses from the Quran that Muslims beleive once read, protect you from black magic and devils and so on. Iblis in Arabic is another name for the Devil. When the door opened the words Bismillah was said, which means asking for god for protection from the devil.

Every horror game made represented a different culture than mine, I could watch them for breakfast and would not even flinch. This one hit too close to home. I actually felt the pain of the protagonist and watched the entire thing through a peep hole.

@@Cybeldina somehow, yes. I was creeped out by the visuals cause they felt like my actual everyday surroundings. The religious frames hanging on the wall, the Quraan playing in the background, the way he recites phrases when in fear.. all of these worked out so well.
I might have been wrong stating that I felt this way towards EVERY horror game, but in my mind, I was just comparing it to almost every indie horror game released in the past 3 or 4 years, because Cry of Fear was scary AF.
@@lameeshaddadi2444 Well, I have no doubt that you probably understood some things in this game that I didn’t (I don’t know why they haven’t added subtitles) And perhaps that added some scarier context. But it’s often the opposite for me. When a game depicts a foreign culture or setting, it can really add to that uneasy sense of unfamiliarity. For example, that Islamic music probably sounds very ordinary to you. But for me it added even more to the feeling of being an outsider in an unfamiliar place where everything is different from what I know or expect. But in general I think this game was just really scary because it had fantastic atmosphere and sound design. The photorealism is terrifying too because it’s so vivid. Most indie horror games in recent years have been really mediocre, honestly. Still, I usually find games about stalkers, burglars, etc more scary than games about ghosts or demons. Because they’re real, AND they’re universal.

@@Cybeldina for me when I hear any religious song, music or whatever it makes me feel eary. If I were to go to a muslim country like this I would in no way shape or form feel safe. Yes when im home alone or something I'll read ayatul kursi or the fatiha (with falaq, nas, ikhlas and kursi). So those made me feel safe but in some ways knowing more info can make it more scary.

Other Portriats on the wall was "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Prophet" , "Picture of the Holy Ka'bba , Mecca" , and i think other writing parts that says "In the Name of God/Allah" pretty much all 💯👍🏼 Hope this Helps buddy.

Oh man this is intense… I remember giving up on outlast and I LOVE survival horror lol. With that said I’m only 10 mins in but I feel the key is on the radio.. i see something that looks like a key flashing. Anyhoo.. crazy intense my guy. Hilarious too 😅
I'm playing outlast now I took a break for a few days I actually got influenced into nightmares which rarely happens, never happened on any resident evil games, last of us or even any horror movies I watch lmao.
Mate, it took me several months to have a heart to finish Outlast😂 But it's a different type of scary from these PT-esque horror games, as these types scare you with anticipation for a jump scare. Although playing Outlast did teach me to just tough it out, and play it in one go.

I really like the addition of the dogs barking. Makes you think they can sense or see the spirit which makes it feel that much more realistic. Very nice touch.
I also really like the setting of this game. It's super different. A lot of horror game have the Christian or Catholic backdrop. Crucifixes have been so overused in horror games and movies so having this be set in a Muslim village with Arabic prayers in the background was super unique. Hearing the prayers coming from the character you're playing makes it feel like watching stannic ghost hunting videos on TH-cam.
But I feel really bad for hollow man, I could tell this one really got to him. Really sorry bro but great video as usual. 👍👍👍
