      I agree but parents know their children better than most people so they should be able to spot when their child is acting in an alarming way. Instead parents like these are more upset that the kid is in trouble once again and look for ways to punish rather than to find professional help or actually supervise their kid. This kid knew when his mom went to sleep and woke up. He was able to get away with abusing substances regularly. Thats not good parenting thats negligence and choosing not to deal with their kids issues until it becomes an issue for everyone else

    • @Pharomid
      @Pharomid 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      The above argument fails to consider that something can have a causal relationship without being 1 to 1. Bad parenting can increase the likelihood that a kid grows up to do this without always being the case. Smoking cigarettes causes lung cancer even though you can smoke 6 packs a day without ever developing lung cancer. There is in fact a relationship between bad parenting and committing crimes, even if it's not 1 to 1.

    Agree & disagree, they even noted that he was in counselling & diagnosed with ADHD and depression, not an excuse but that doesn't happen on his own accord. I can assure you that the parents did have something to do with trying to get help for him, if it was the mum or the dad. clearly the mum knew more about his actions. but that doesn't mean her bad parenting caused a person with mental issues to do things they do. let's think about this legitimately here. he filmed it all and put it in a folder called "dark" and used the password "murder" he wrote in his own diary with creepy stuff. I don't think any of it was for attention because no one would know the password or see the folder but him. I genuinely think he has other undiagnosed mental issues that no parent could have controlled... I'm not saying the mother couldn't have noticed things and got help or the police earlier, im just saying she doesn't control his brain.... that's why we have mental homes & jail brother, just remember that.

      locking doors is a must in countries like america, where stuff like that happen along with just drunk people mistaking their house and shit.
      at least where i am from (ksa) my grandpa house has 2 doors, 1 goes immediately to the actual house and the other is the part where the men sit, and that door is usually for guests to come by if they want to, except when they sleep (obviously).
      funny story i one time got told by my uncle to get him something out of the car outside and gave me the keys, and my dumbass forgot the keys in the door for like hours and thankfully the car didnt get stolen, even tho i dont suspect our neighbors to do that but... still was a dumbass thing to do from me lmao.

      The other aspect is society.
      Therapy and help doesn't matter if you can't actually integrate back into society because people are mean, rude and fly off the handle at different people.
      It's not impossible but some people have a much harder time finding people that accept them and it's like impossible to have a hell child mind, no support, bad parents, a bad school, shitty friends who are also antisocial...

An aggressive single father and a single mother with several boys I've seen this from several people I grew up with most of them ended up in prison or with some jail time. Doesn't mean they will all turn out to be murders but the rates don't lie on the increased risks. Not to mention all the other risks and potential crimes.
