    I'm glad someone said it. I do understand there are middle eastern companies that makes perfumes that are inpressions of other western perfumes but in listening to some of these "reviewers" you would think the east only makes clones, so disrespectful!

    Western perfume.

    Ii absolutely agree. The shaghaf oud dna is a middle eastern staple n has been for maybe millenia 😊. I feel oud bouquet was inspired by that dna... not the other way around.. im so happy to hear someone finally say it.

    I wish I would have come upon your page a long time ago. I already have Shaghaf Oud Aswad, and Shaghaf Oud. Just before typing this, I purchased Shaghaf Oud Ahmar and Azraq. I love eastern fragrances because they have the uniqueness that I'm looking for in a fragrance. To me, even more than a niche fragrance and definitely more than a designer fragrance. Listening to your review, you have sent my interest in eastern fragrances even more. The one thing that I loved about your review is when you stated that "you wear what you want." After I get this haul in, I will be getting the Shaghaf for Women and trying a layering combo. Please keep the reviews coming and I will keep watching. Btw, if you have any recommendations, by all means, list them.

    Well yes, Oud Bouquet was supposed to be middle eastern but was released two years before Shaghaf Oud. The reformulation of Oud Bouquet has more rose.

    • @headless.scents
      @headless.scents 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Hi habibi! Shaghaf oud perhaps did come out after oud bouquet, but the concept I was try to relay was tha shghaf oud is pretty much a typical middle eastern DNA profile. So I highly doubt that it's a "dupe". Are they similar in ways? No doubt. But it's like the DNA is it's own thing. I guess that's all I was trying to say. Not evere middle eastern perfume comes out is a clone. The east often inspires the west.
      I appreciate you being here 💛🌹

    Thank you for this content 🙏🏼. I’m discovering the Middle East fragrances since 2 months now and I’m so excited about them 🤩. I also think they are more valuable than the western brands. Don’t want clones. I’m getting sick of all these angel share/baccarat rouge/sauvage/le male/intervictus/l homme… clones 🥱
    I’ll get now all of these swiss arabian except the red one. Thanks 🙏🏼 ❤

    I love the gold and black Shaghaf layered together. I also recently got Aswad and I love it. I love the herbal smoky opening and the sweet vanilla dry down. I layer it with Ragbha from Lattafa to make it sweeter. I really want to try Shaghaf for her.

    I have Shaghaf Oud, Shaghaf for her, and Shaghaf Aswad. If I had to pick one perfume to wear the rest of my life, I would choose Shaghaf Oud. At first, I hated it, but I let it sit for awhile and went back to it. So beautiful. I also like Shaghaf for her. It is very nice as well. Very feminine. Like you, I don't care for the Aswad. I just don't like the scent profile. I intend to buy the red and blue Shaghafs in the future.

      That was my reaction too. I hated it so much when I first smelled it. However after time I fell in love with Shaghaf Oud and could not put it down. I need to get myself another bottle for the autumn and winter.

    Can you recommend any long lasting fresh (not powdery) scent perfumes?

    • @headless.scents
      @headless.scents 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Dina! One of my favorite fresh musky scents is Violet Musc by Ajmal (it has violet, and it smells of baby powder, but does not like actual powderiness, idk if that makes sense.
      Another easy go to fresh musk is Royal Musk by Al-Haramain. The one in the blue bottle, gold top, I believe it's sold on Jomashop.
      Body musk by Lattaffa is another easy good one.
      Or Musk is Great by Zimaya (Afnan), I do really enjoy that.
      I hope that helps 🤗🌹

    What is the most BARNYARD oud fragrance for under $40??

    • @headless.scents
      @headless.scents 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh that's a good question! I haven't smelled ay barnyard from swiss arabian (from my memory). But if looking at another brand try Pascal Moribito gold. That gets barn yards as it dries down and warms up. This is an affordable one. It's in a gold square bottle.
      I hope that helps! ✨️✨️

    What would do u think would be more appealing on a Man Azraq or Aswad ?

    • @headless.scents
      @headless.scents 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi Umair, well it depends on your personal tastes. Aswad is definitely on the masculine side, but harder to wear on a day to day basis as it is 'exotic' and heavier (atleast if you are in the West or in European countries).
      Azraq is sweeter a bit less masculine, but much easier to wear, and the wood and spice elements will likely be standing out more on a man's skin.
      I'd vote likely Azraq for easier wear ✅️

    How does Azraq compare to Aswad, for a Man

    • @headless.scents
      @headless.scents 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Oh wow! They are totally different in scent profiles. Aswad is dark, heavy and very middle eastern leaning scent profile, very unique aroma, jammy rose with leather and spice, smells like bakhoor (incense)to me. It is a beast performer.
      Where as Azraq is sweet with Vanilla and honey, spicy , a bit woody. Very well wearing and lasts a good amount of time especially if sprayed on clothes.
      Both totally wearable by men

    I am ready for an oud fragrance in my collection. I saw a video on one called oud flor. I always assumed the best fragrances are from the Middle east anyway 🫶🏽
