I wish people would realize that Lataffa and those cheap perfumes and dupe brands people call "Arab perfumes" are not all there is to Arab perfumes. It's like us going to Walmart and going to the dupe perfume section and saying these are "French perfumes", like technically it could be correct but its not at all what people mean when they say french perfume. It's not fair and because Arab perfumes are so diverse and expensive and much better quality than the dupe brands you guys know.
@@jtc6625 yes I actually completely agree on your grievance. When I started my Arab fragrance series on Tiktok I would talk about Kajal and Navitus and people were like “but those aren’t affordable?” like what? Arab doesn’t mean affordable. So yes I totally agree with you haha it irritates me too!
I would say that windows down from henry rose is a much more astringent earl grey tea scent, rather than creamy like a london fog. I do like it but it definitely gives more over-steeped earl grey tea than like a tea latte, which could be something to keep in mind!
My mom has Oud for Glory by Lattafa (the super affordable dupe for Initio Oud for Greatness) and I find it wonderful....she gets compliments everywhere she goes with people wanting to know what she is wearing.
Yara is phenomenal! I have gifted a bottle of Yara to my sister and to a friend, and they absolutely loved it (as much as I do) Even my sister's kids complimented her on how good she smells when she wears it. If you're a gent looking for a present for a special woman in your life, you can't go wrong with Yara!. Loved this video :)
I own the Oud for Glory by Lattafa (blind buy) and if you like the Khamrah scent, you may like it! It's spicy and earthy with musk, lasts forEVER on my skin and clothes (8 hours+). To me, it smells very comforting and would be perfect for colder months 🥰🖤💜
My loves are: *Ajmal Sacrifice for Her* (close to Alien EDT) *Club De Nuit Woman* (a Coco Mad similarity supposedly, great either way) *Khamrah Qahwa* (less boozy with a coffee note) Some honorable mentions: *Armaf Ego Exotic* *Blend Oud Sana* *Lattafa Mohra Silky Rose* *Afnan Souvenir Bouquet* *Lattafa Nebras* Biggest lesson learned, is to always allow time for the fragrance to mature; as many are sent straight from production.
Question: what is a good time to let them mature and what is too much? Because I see a lot of unopened Diorissimos for sale on a marketplace sale in my country, but they might be from the 80’s you know…
"plastic baby doll head synthetic note" adding that to my fragrance descriptors lol. How is the black pepper note in al oud honor and glory? The pepper note in Phlur vanilla skin was too much for me.
My favourite affordable Arab fragrance is ansaam gold. I like it better than oriana honestly. I also like narcotic flower (dupe of fleur narcotique) and nebras. Those are the only ones that I own. I found the creaminess/plastic vibes from yara nauseating and khamrah is just doing too much for me to wear but I would love to smell it on someone else. My all time favourite Arab perfume is definitely Amouage guidance but its definitely not for everyone and I can only handle two sprays!
The way I've had Honour and Glory in my fragbuy cart for ages awaiting your stamp of approval ☺️ I picked up Lahdath a month or so ago, which is supposedly a dupe of Roses Vanille and I'd love to hear your take on it one day (also suggesting you try Afnan and Swiss Arabian eventually, Afnan has La Nuit Tresor and Valaya dupes that are especially interesting)
I was hoping you would try Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited (white one) because it’s supposed to be really lactonic (so might be good for your milk series) but it’s also had very polarizing reviews
I think I got a horrible batch of Ansaam gold. It smells like straight-up alcohol with orange peels. I let it macerate for 5 weeks now and still no improvements. I was super excited to try it.

I'm eyeing Ansaam Gold cause I love both Oriana ans LDBS but I also own both so when I run out, should I try it? I really do believe you that it's similar, but I also dislike Yara strongly so idk if I should pull the plug😅
I bought tariaq a few months ago on a really good discount and it’s ok…better for fall so I put it away but I loveeeee yara!!! I’m wondering if you have tried yara tous (the orange one)??
I blind bought Khamrah , and i love it but it’s totally man scent . Not unisex , definetly not for women imo . ( it smells just like one of my husbands parfume but idk which one )
Did you have to let your andaam gold macerate gor a while? I've had mine for a couple of weeks and it smells like raspberry flavored candy wrap soaked by accident in laundry soap. I teally want the raspberry marshmallow i was promised😂

My sister and I had the same experience with the UK-website but the perfumes did arrive after a month for both of us. ❤ I got the order confirmation e-mail, was told that I would recieve an e-mail after shipping (never happened), asked for a tracking no (never got one) but all of a sudden got a text that my order was out for delivery 🤷

I wish the famous perfume experts stop overly complimenting the lataffas and the kayalis, I hate them, they smell metallic, mostly manly and 90 percent perform poorly with zero projection and yes kayali included. Also comparing them with designer perfume dupes is an insult to the designer ones.

Ajayeb Dubai Portrait is my absolute love. My new summer scent!
Is it really citursy? Cause I want to buy it but I’m scared it would smell very citursy cause I don’t really like citrus notes a lot.
Orange and mango mix in an interesting way, so it smells more like pineapple. In my opinion, it's also quite woody

If a fragrance is too strong you can dilute it in a separate spraybottle or only do 1 spray on the neck, it's enough.

It took me a minute, but I figured out that Yara reminds me of strawberry crème savers. I really like it as a casual every day scent.
