Disneyland is an amusement park in Anaheim, California, which opened in 1955. It is the only one designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney.
Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s. He initially envisioned building a tourist attraction adjacent to his studios in Burbank to entertain fans who wished to visit; however, he soon realized that the proposed site was too small. After hiring the Stanford Research Institute to perform a feasability study determining an appropriate site for his project, Disney bought a 160-acre (65 ha) site near Anaheim in 1953. The park was designed by a creative team hand-picked by Walt from internal and outside talent. They founded WED Enterprises, the precursor to today's Walt Disney Imagineering. Construction began in 1954 and the park was unveiled during a special televised press event on the ABC Television Network on July 17, 1955.

As a child and living not too far from Disneyland, I did not indulge till I was 12 years old, it bored me, but when I got older than 12 I was 16 years old, I loved the characters, roller coasters, themes it brought out the child in me.

But I'll never forgive that they replaced the SA serpent with finding Nemo or splash mountain with princess and the frog -_- one of my fav things as a kid was that old song along video set in thos theme park. So many memories. I especially want to try the haunted mansion, bobsleds, jungle cruise and star tours

You can buy at the gate, but you probably save money if you buy online before arriving at the park!

Going to california 1st week of January 2024 and am torn between which park to attend as only have one day. my children are 14 and 16 . it looks like the rides at california adventure are more “thrill “ rides but I so want to see Disneyland with all the Christmas decorations. What is your opinion on which park to attend? We did disneyworld with the kids in 2015 and did all 4 parks.
That's a tough one. Have you considered doing both parks in one day. I know it's a lot to do, but you can get the best of both worlds.

Thanks for the video. When we first visited Disneyland in 2022, we only subscribe to 2 TH-camrs and now we also subscribe to your channel. We will fly 8,600 miles to Anaheim in June 2024. Could Genie plan our trips and rides to the less walk as possible? Last time we walk 30,000 steps daily.😅. Thanks. 🎉

I live less than 10 miles from Disneyland.But I never visited Disneyland anymore because $144 a day ticket that half a day of my salary.That if you don’t eat snacks or lunches in the park.If you do that another $ 75-$100 depending what you’re eating.Hardly any things to doings in there without standing in lines at lest 20 minutes.
