I’m from LA . I love my city but honestly if you come to visit , you will be upset to find the real LA . Sure , you will ride with a lot of homeless. Wanna drive ? Sure , you’ll get stuck in traffic . Specially on weekends.
Well I just got here from Vancouver after spending 2 days in San Francisco. This is my first time being in California and I just decided to take a little two week trip on a whim and I'm excited to see the city, although I completely already understand what you're talking about regarding the traffic! It seems I was entering the city about 90 minutes before I actually reached my hotel in Norwalk.... Which I guess is a community in LA? Lol. Sorry to sound so dense but because I've never been here I'm a little confused as to all the little communities (Burbank, Norwalk etc...). I've heard it's a huge metropolis and it covers a massive area but I tried to find a hotel that was relatively close to the tacky tourist stuff. I guess I'll find out over the next couple of days. Regarding the homelessness and mental illness/drug addiction issues, it probably isn't any worse than Vancouver right now, sadly
I just moved to LA a few months ago, either you hate it or love it! I love it! Its something here for everybody! Sure the traffic is bad, sure there's a homeless problem, sure things can get a bit expensive! There's is good & bad in any city you go to. All in all LA is a dope city!
