I really like the palette in Noia.
Just stumbled upon your series today and I downloaded the client. The fact you have the volume set lower on first launch makes you such a top tier dev, thank you for not blowing out my ears! Too many games do that.
bwwaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAH
@@noiadev Hmmm
Hello, awesome video as always. By the way, maybe one idea for you to look at:
You should probably get the enemy data to csv file and create the enemies stats as Scriptable objects, which you would load at run time from the database. That way you can change the stats very easily and have them all in one place to compare. Also if you would have them as addressables it would alow you to change enemy stats (do balance) without releasing a build (you can have the data stored on the server).
I have seen a few games handle it this way. It is worth thinking about that is for sure
Looks fantastic! I struggle to imagine how much thought you put into balancing the game. Good luck with fine tuning it.
Game dev inspiration. Interesting, will check after stream)
Oh no, not scary monsters!! 😱
I slacked off on my algorithm boosting, but it seems like a few other people wrote about things going brrrrrrrrr and I can't help but wonder if I'm responsible for that
The difficulty goes brrrrrr - if dani dont comment in the next month, this world is completely lost lmao
Stats go brrrr
This is very inspiring, personally I would try to make the environment more memorable and also make the player character stand out more somehow. Also I would tweak some spell effects, like the light beam ray thingy, it's a bit too big, covering the whole character.
But the monster design are very cool! I'm interested in this project
I recommend giving this a watch if you haven't already th-cam.com/video/9kBQQO-YJ-I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=cf7lYqpu5Z6Rqnw2 apart from the Mastercraft of the cinematic it also talks about all kinds of aspects that made wow so good, by the devs themselves
For the algorithm!
Curious what you use for your backend for this MMO, are you using your own custom framework or something like FishNet/Photon etc?

@@noiadev Thanks for the info, nice to see a real-life example of something with that scale done with it :)
Nice! Can we get a sample of the excel sheet? Thanks!

@@noiadev You made my day, thank you!
Yes
Coooooooooooool❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
is it out on steam?
No not yet. Steam is.....not kind..... to unfinished/alpha stage games
@@noiadev no worries, I played the game and it's pretty nice! I'd like for the UI to have a size option though because its a bit small
@@cringecatmasteredits The UI size options are in the Prefs area of the settings menu
There are and was alpha games really worse then this , why would yours be different ?
@@noiadev thanks!
You've mentioned spiders, any chance for an arachnophobia mode to be added later on?
No promises, but I will look into it.
