As a person from West Bengal (im icse) , 89% in WB boards is DAMN GOOD. Like REALLY. It's good enough if you get 70% or 75%, but 89% is really extraordinary, believe me.
State board students are always brave they don't stop through percentage. Myself I failed maths twice and still chose engineering currently I'm pursuing diploma if I want to I'll no matter what engineering has nothing to do with my 10th student version
