My technique is to just draw pictures of the content informally, that picture is enough to remember about that content, because images stays longer in brain than words

thank god finally someone pointed this out. all the generic study advice on youtube is utter garbage just like this video too. im pretty sure this IIT alumni has no idea about the process of encoding storage and retrieval and is just making click baity develop an editic memory in 10 seconds type of bullshit.
@@Suhail-Althagafi encoding is the process through which our brain takes in new information and stores it in the long term memory. there are certain strategies that you can adopt to encode what youre learning better so you dont have to rely on wrote memorization- 1. elaboration- you can try to answer why questions after reading something. the why should be relevant to what you're trying to remember. lets say for example "apple falls from the tree" so you try to elaborate that apple falls from the tree because of gravity 2. self inquiry- again goes back to asking questions about what youre reading like why does the gravity make the apple fall and such 3. visualization and imagination- you can try to imagine an apple tree and an apple falling from the tree itself 4. developing relations and organisation - you can try to relate the knowledge of apple falling to the knowledge of gravity and see how things are connected and interrelated remember encoding is just 1 step its important to couple it with retrieval

If someone completes their undergraduate degree (BTech) from a tier 1 college at the age of 26, is it too late or challenging for them to start their corporate career? What difficulties might they encounter during college and in their professional life?
I wonder even IITs allow story telling instead of to the point in answer sheets. Nothing different from conventional universities. Most of the TH-cam channels suffer from this disease. Better to check with some good books written by psychologists or psychiatrists based on Amazon reviews. Articles, TH-cam mini videos, tutorials are mostly good for nothing to learn anything properly.

How to develop photographic memory
How do we remember the things that are irrelevant to us like our past things or the time that we were young how do we remember all that stuff and we cant remember , the imp stuff .
Our brain only remembers the info that is imp for our survival
There are 3 elements to develop photographic memory
1) Make it emotional
2) Make It visual
3) Now we know that brain remembers the only things that it feels are imp to us . but how are things imp to us
1) Value;- add value to whatever your doing , understand why are you doing it
2) Relation;- you should have a strong relation with the thing that your doing
3) Repletion ;- make sure that you revise frequently
The 1 min technique
Information _ translation _ representation
Here are the steps to do it
1) Grab a index card
2) Write the Title of what you want to remember
3) Fill info about the subject and make it personal
4) Write a personal connection
5) Draw picture
Here are some imp memory techniques
1) Use memorable visual image
the rat example given in the video .
2) Create a story
It will help help you remember a large amount of memory the more you turn the facts into story the better you will remember the outline of the knowledge that you have
3) Do spaced repetition
where you revise on a secluded basis .
4) Active recall
Close your book try to understand the info and then try to learn Recall what you have learned if your not able to do it its ok just open your book and study again until you do it
Types of memory
Short term and long term
1) Short term
Temporary storage in our brain
Extra info on how it happens;- when you learn something new synapses are formed in the brain and synapses get strong over time if you revise regularly , if the synapse is not strong then when you create a new memory you will forget the old one.
2) Long term memory
The more you revise regularly and understand stuff that is in your short term memory , you will be able to transfer the short term memory into long term memory by making your synapses stronger.
Who are you Bro?

2)Make it visual
3) Important info- barim stores.
- Value. Eg: Mom
