Because it prevents digging our mother earth, potential conflicts, and a variety of other things, I decided to go with lab-grown. It's a personal choice, though. Thank you for posting the video.
dude you are a lifesaver. I thought it's gonna take months to choose a diamond. I finished this in couple of hours after watching your videos! huge thanks from UK

One of the best videos I've seen regarding the subject, excellent explanation and very relevant information, it was just what I was looking for, thank you, I hope you continue uploading content, you have my support
A few days ago, I went to a store. At first glance, natural diamonds in certain lighting appear to be brighter, which I believe is more attractive. However, when viewed individually, I am unable to discern which one was natural.
I had 4K and went with 1.00 ct J SI natural. We just replaced it with a 1.30 D VVS1 lab and couldn't be happier. You just can't take the eyes of it, getting compliments and no one gives a fuck if it's natural. Even other friends wanna replace their natural with lab to go bigger. If you don't buy it as an investment, there is no point in getting natural. Better invest in a 4k entry level Rolex.
dude some of the SI lab diamonds could be easily considered as VS2 in natural diamonds. the inclusions of lab are a bit different, sometimes you can find an inclusion that looks like a thin hair and the stone is graded as SI, no way you'll see it in real life. if you find a good SI lab, it's the best deal you can get. inflation is coming, save your money and buy lab.
If you go with lab and have 2K in your pocket, better get a hearts and arrows diamond. No reason to compromise over brilliance when it's only a couple hundred more.

picking a diamond is one of the most stressful choices I've ever made. you just made it much easier.
Can you make a vid on how we can differentiate between the origin of the diamond?
What about picking a GIA certificate over IGI?

How can I know if the diamonds on my eternity ring are lab or natural?
So if you get a I color with faint blue does that make the diamond look whiter/brighter without the yellow tint?
Which one is better for lab? IGI or GIA?

wat about table? wat bout crown degrees? pavilion? girdle percentage? star facet percentage? this video is not that informative.
good
As long as it's eye-clean, I'm going big.
We can't forget the symbolism of natural diamonds when it comes to engagement rings. However, for any other jewelry, I guess lab would be fine.
If a lab-grown diamond is indistinguishable from a natural diamond, what would stop me from selling it as a real diamond and making money?
Diamonds have a tiny laser engraving on the girdle which denotes their source, so this would give it away. Good question though I wondered the same!
