Hello Cynthia! Is working for a non-UK organisation (only 20 hrs as I'll be a student) going to be an issue when I finally apply for the post-study visa? I'm planning to do remote part-time work with my current employer, once I've moved to the UK. Thank you!
Hello Arjelyn, I don’t really think it matters who you work for, whether it is a UK organisation or not, as long as you don’t work for more than 20 hours and you pay your taxes.
Not at all, the main thing is for you not to exceed the 20 hours a week. This law was put in place to protect the British students and graduates so that foreigners don’t occupy most of the jobs while indigenes struggle. On the other hand, if you want to secure a professional job in future, it is good to have a job history and no employment gap. I know you might have some reasons why you chose not to work, why don’t you try remote job roles? Check out my latest video, I spoke about employment history and gaps. The name is the video is “7 things you need to understand before applying for a job in the UK.” I wish you the best!

I love you, Cynthia ❤❤
Awh!!
Nice!
Thank you 🎉
I hope that if you didn't work at all during your studies won't affect post study work visa being refused?
