How To Take Beautiful Professional Photos At Low-Cost
When it comes to selling products and services online, presentation matters. One of the easiest ways to improve your presentation and positioning is by taking high-quality photos.
That means having high-end beautiful product photography, which can go a long way in helping your online store stand out.
However, not every online store owner can afford to invest in a professional photography studio when they’re just starting out. DIY product photography provides a great alternative, and as long as you know the proper tools and techniques, taking compelling product photos is well within your grasp.

As a new business launching soon and doing everything myself to start this is exactly what I needed to see for my product photos. Thank you!
When shooting products with mobile camera, always use a 10 second timer to reduce camera shake.
This is absolute GOLD!
Absolutely. Photos are the primary way for a customer to know your product.

Excellent video. You solved so many of the problems I have been having. One being zooming in on photos. My photos are pretty plain but the final outcome of the image when uploaded on line was looking weird do to zooming in. I will take your advice. Thank you
So glad to hear it! Excited to see that you're looking to implement the strategies we discussed in this video. All the best! 🚀

I am going to be taking pictures of my own products and I have window but i don't have a big window in this demonstration video, what would be the next step for me if I don't have that. I have a table but its small and I see you have a tall table.
Ring lights
Etsy is telling me my android can't download pictures there to big well how do u make them smaller. It has to be smaller than 10mb????
Is it Necessary to bring the products home and take pictures instead u can just put the existing photos u get online...??
Great question! While we strongly recommend taking product photos of your own, it’s not 100% necessary if you’re dropshipping. That’s because dropshipping suppliers often include decent product photos in their listings. Before you choose a supplier, we recommend asking permission to use their product photos on your store. This can help avoid issues or complications down the road.
However, high-end beautiful, unique product photography can go a long way in helping your online store stand out. DIY product photography article teaches you the proper tools and techniques, and taking compelling product photos is well within your grasp - bit.ly/41mmhMp.
@@learnwithshopify Thanks For thee Info :)
Hi, I'm relying on photo editing for the "lifestyle" photos because I don't have access to nice living spaces. The images just don't feel natural to me, it looks obvious they were photoshopped. How can I get better at making things look natural?
Have you tried AI tools that can help you generate the background for your product photos? (Disclaimer: I'm the cofounder of Pebblely, an AI product photography tool. Happy to hear any feedback you have!)
Hi everyone! I need some tips on what to do if you do not live in a home that gets good, natural daylight. Our house is north facing, tucked amongst a bunch of trees, and not many windows (I absolutely hate it, but this is the hand I'm dealt right now). I make jewelry and product photos have been one of the hardest things for me to nail because of my lighting situation. -Selena
I guess u hv to use more photography Lights...to get a Nice Image
Don't worry. Go out somewhere and take pics. Go to the park, sit outside Starbucks, library etc. Use the natural background showing your Jewellery.
I bought 2. Softbox for about $25 I think. They are far from perfect but get the job done.
Also light reflectors are usually inexpensive. These are round disks with silver reflective lining on one side. The easily fold down & take no space at all.
I noticed you keep the phone sideways? Is that the correct way to keep the phone
