You are totally right, this week has some heavy hitters. I will most likely be in on 12 Sins of Herekles and Detective. Will keep my eyes on the other ones.
My thoughts to share with you! (First though, thanks for making the video.) I have Aeon's Trespass. I'm not getting the Expansion because I have a ton of the base game to still play! I'll wait. Dead Cells - I'll wait till it comes out whenever that is and check out the reviews. I'll wait. Monster Hunter World - Still waiting for a # of Steamforge games to deliver so I'll just wait on this. Apex Legends - This is the one I'll probably invest in. I'm really slowing down on these. I just paid for Marvel United Multiverse and I just need to SLOW DOWN.
Lots of heavy hitters for sure! Luckily, I'm passing on them all. I too love rogue-likes and own several of them on Steam, but they don't translate well to board game versions. I'm mostly holding out for the upcoming KtHO expansion and if Dwar7s Summer goes to crowdfunding this year, oh, and the War Chest expansion.
I am almost certain that I would love Aeon Trespass. The theme, the mechanics and the miniatures are all to my taste. I continue to resist because I have too many games and painting projects to ever give this the time that it needs to do it justice. Maybe in the future, when I have culled my game collection to sub 20 games (never going to happen). I left Monster Hunter World last time because I am all in on Primal. But the next one does look interesting? I have watched a few playthroughs of Apex Legends but am not convinced that it does anything different to my current collection of skirmish games, which I am a big fan of.
Thankfully nothing for me this week. I think I'm gonna back Endeavor Deep Sea and the Forgotten Depths reprint (very excited for that one) this month and hopefully leave it there for the near future.
The wooden Table Golf was too expensive for me but I'll definitely look at the cheaper version. Evolution Another World could also be interesting. The big 4 you talk about? Not my style.
Aeon's trespass, could be in my price range for the core box only. I will check the campaign. Watching over Dead Cells as well but i rather wait for Stalker (AR) in June.
Aeon Trespass seems so interesting given the theme, but I'm just now getting around to painting my miniatures for Oathsworn to start a campaign this summer, and I waiting for Sleeping Gods this summer and Elder Scrolls next year. Being realistic, I don't have time for the game, so that's a pass for me. As someone who fell head over heels for Dead Cells when playing the game on Switch. Considering all the teasers, I'm generally curious about the price and the gameplay loop. Those two factors would determine if I raise my pledge for Slay the Spire, or back this campaign instead. Monster Hunter remains a game that I rather still the video game than play the board game alternative. Still feel they launch this campaign way too soon by SFG. Apex Legends is a wildcard for me. I'm sure it will do well. Considering the tactical nature of the game, I cannot think of a better time for it to launch with all the news surrounding 6 Siege.
Great breakdown Liege! Still struggling with either Late Pledging all in on Kingdoms Forlorn or getting the AT:O reprint… thoughts Chris? Obviously you loved AT:O wondering how you think your time with KF compares? Take care and thanks for all the killer content!
Thinking about that, too. It seems that there were a lot of critiques about the exploration and interruptions with the storyline for each character, and in playing solo, they had a mechanic that allowed your followers to choose the route, and then you could not clear the story. In the updates, it seems they fixed it, but I have not seen any demos played with the new set of rules.
Most of the gameplay and reviews for ATO have been positive to really positive. KF I think is too early to tell. From what they currently have, the gameplay wasn’t smooth and too finicky. BUT, ITU “seems” like a company that will make many improvements before its release. I like the whimsical art style of KF, but ATO is currently a safer bet imo.
I was excited for the reprint, then I lost interest after the prices... already backed another, will stay at 1 or just back Herakles core, still don't know.
I am confused, will there be only one season of Herakles available with the upcoming campaign or do they only reveal one so far but put all four up when the campaign goes live?
They have confirmed all 4 Seasons should be shown during the campaign. That being said, I know ITU also loves the slow reveal and mysteries. Not having what is likely to be a $400~500 pledge (I suppose about $1,000 for the ATO + SoH All-In) already on display seems like an odd choice in that case. They could have just had the price and Pledge level already there, then tease and reveal the other Seasons during the campaign. Perhaps they are trying to be economically reasonable, and if there isn't quite enough pledged for all 4 Seasons, they would only do, say, 2 Seasons now, then 2 Seasons in a follow up campaign, later.
Man I am interested in Dead Cells, but isn't Antoine Bauza been part of the near 4 year debacle (though they did say finally the games are on the boat) of the Arkeis Campaign. Anyway all these are gonna be a pass for me. Been doing much more waiting for retail games lately. Though upcoming Stalker game in June has peaked my interest and am considering backing. thx for the great videos
i know 100% im getting all in MH iceborn, deadcells.... idk about a board game. aeons tresspass... because im getting iceborn, i might just do PM access.. maybe just the core box thing..
When you convert it to Aussie dollars it absolutely blows out. Totally redidulous price. Don't care how good it is. I pay a mortgage. Fair funking dinkum
Honestly I'm still struggling with your advice about how many campaigns I can table. Still waiting for Arydia and other campaigns. If HEL was actually a reality, maybe more keen. Once bitten twice shy
MH Iceborne is the most stupid and lazy product ever released on KS imho. Might be good, but how cheap they couldn't come up with a design that makes it compatible. It's such a small game, so "mini" when its about mechanics compared to many other games (with similar prices). And so bloated. Played the World BG a few times now and I can see it getting boring really really fast. We will see... but the announcement with all the marketing effort seems really like it is a waste of money (most of your money is for people getting invited to press conferences and LOTS and LOTS of marketing)
You're one of the first to get TMB: Unbreakable. If you get some content out quickly on that, it'll really help your channel.
Lots of fun and variety, glad to be in the mix of these amazing games!
Very informative video. Thanks Chris
Leaning towards getting the new sins of Heracles standalone expansion. An open world sounds really interesting!
Loving you sporting the Wisconsin tee!!
Another best week ever... This cures my FOMO.

ATO at $299 for the Core Pledge is the same price as it was during the Gamefound PM for non-original backers. It's what I paid about 14 months ago.
More Too Many Bones! Yes please!

Haha almost every week is the biggest crowdfunding week in history! 😂
Thankfully nothing for me this week. I think I'm gonna back Endeavor Deep Sea and the Forgotten Depths reprint (very excited for that one) this month and hopefully leave it there for the near future.

I am most interested in dead cells. I have Marvel season 3 and DEI (cough your fault cough) coming already. :) :)
Aeon's trespass, could be in my price range for the core box only. I will check the campaign.

This Month my CF Money goes to Geeknson´s Gwen Gaming Table so nothing left for games.

4 seasons, Liege! That's just a 1/4 of SOH content!
So basically... avoid to start a KS campaign next week :P

Do you think this Iceborne is worth getting for a solo only player? The first one does not seem very appealing for solo play.

I’m guessing there will be the option to get all four. I’ve been curious about that as well.
