I have overfill from a root canal that was done over a year ago, and I haven't feel good since it was done. My neck glands swell, and I have pain, and have developed ezcema and inflammation in my left side of my body that I believe is an autoimmune reaction to the toxic material overfill. I'm afraid to go back to the endodontist because when he did the root canal and showed me the post endo x ray, I asked him what that little tail was that went beyond the root, and all he said was it was good thing it was filled with material. Nothing at all about fixing it.
The overfilled material is either gutta percha which is biocompatible or sealer which either resorbable as zinc oxide based or biocompatible as Bioceramic so the complications are not likely to be caused by endodontic overfilling
I’m really scared now, I had a root canal on my front tooth on Monday and developed severe pain in the tooth when biting down. I’ve gone back to my regular dentist who seen a bit of an overfill on the x ray. She filed down the tooth to take the pressure off but said if the pain doesn’t subside in a few days surgery will be needed. Will this cause permanent damage? Is this a dental emergency? What do I do?

I need to see the xray because the amount of overfilling is important
