Was gonna suggest drive up the coast on Pacific Coast Hwy from SoCal to SF…but during this time of the year it’s pretty sketchy with rains and landslides. It’s an awesome drive though in the spring/summer Up in SF, Pacifica to be exact, there’s a Taco Bell Cantina that sits on the coast…cheapest meal you’ll ever have with a million dollar view…you can watch surfers, enjoy the beach view, etc…and the bonus, they sell alcohol.
San Diego is my Favorite City in California. Balboa park Belmont Park Torrey Pines Seaport Village La Jolla Coronado (it's also next door to Mexico which has cool places to check out)
What beautiful shots you got of Malibu beaches and trails!! Thank you so much. I have been missing Malibu after a wonderful visit there in 2022. If I could design heaven it would be located in Malibu (maybe without the rattlesnakes though lol.). Hope you show us your favourite Oregon beaches. I am new to your channel (and Canadian too) so great job guys- you are such a warm couple- loved how he was always watching out for her and wanting her to be careful. This was so caring & sweet:)

I love Malibu. It's definitely one of the most beautiful places in California but I don't think it will be hard to beat in beauty for you guys with areas like Big Sur, San Diego and La Jolla area. Santa Barbra, Pismo, Santa Cruz, Monterey, and even San Francisco and some spots north of SF. And we haven't even touched on the national parks.

lol.. you are definitely NOT from around here. There are several ways to get to Malibu. 🙄 PCH is only one of the ways to get there. You can get there from the 101, Mullholand drive and a bunch of other roads….
@@Stavoren i grew up in Redondo Beach, no i am not from Malibu. I spent alot of time in Malibu and the main road into Malibu was PCH. Sure theres other roads like Mullholand or the 101 if you want to go allll theeee waaayyyy arrooouuunddddd lol. What i meant is from where they are (which i assume is LAX area) PCH is the direct way in and out and traffic is a nightmare.

Noooooo, look you guys are great, but having lived in San Diego/Southern California for over 20 years and being up and down the CA coast many times, Malibu is NOT one the most enchanting destinations and is very disappointing if you've been around California much. Lemme give you better places to go if you're ever out here again. Sorry, not to be negative but you just didn't know any better. Instead I'll give you a list of 3 places along the California coast far better than Malibu that are gorgeous day trips to these different spots. The entire Los Angeles region is extremely overrated just because its close to Hollywood and names heard in movies and tv too much. 1: Closest to Malibu - Laguna Beach, Dana Point & San Clemente pier. 2: Del Mar to Torrey Pines State beach & Natural reserve in San Diego county, then down to Wind and Sea La Jolla (Mt Soledad is a must to drive up to at that point). 3: And my favorite, just North of San Francisco are hidden gems, Muir woods park and Mount Tamalpais State Park where there's fcfs camp sites for $25/night incredible hikes, coastal and bay views near by, and the foggy coast line all around the golden gate bridge (Sausalito) is where its at.

Noooooo, look you guys are great, but having lived in San Diego/Southern California for over 20 years and being up and down the CA coast many times, Malibu is NOT one the most enchanting destinations and is very disappointing if you've been around California much. Lemme give you better places to go if you're ever out here again.
Sorry, not to be negative but you just didn't know any better. Instead I'll give you a list of 3 places along the California coast far better than Malibu that are gorgeous day trips to these different spots. The entire Los Angeles region is extremely overrated just because its close to Hollywood and names heard in movies and tv too much.
1: Closest to Malibu - Laguna Beach, Dana Point & San Clemente pier.
2: Del Mar to Torrey Pines State beach & Natural reserve in San Diego county, then down to Wind and Sea La Jolla (Mt Soledad is a must to drive up to at that point).
3: And my favorite, just North of San Francisco are hidden gems, Muir woods park and Mount Tamalpais State Park where there's fcfs camp sites for $25/night incredible hikes, coastal and bay views near by, and the foggy coast line all around the golden gate bridge (Sausalito) is where its at.
