The reason Hawkeye got so much of the spotlight in Age of Ultron was because Jeremy Renner was upset for how they basically made him a zombie for most of Part 1. He even said at one point in an interview, “That’s not the role I signed up for.”
Joss Whedon wrote him a bigger part in the sequel as an “apology”.

I really hope, some how, the MCU explores their friendship more going foward. Hawkeye was the one to call Wanda an Avenger. Pietro died for him. He was the one to get Wanda out of the Avengers compound in Civil War and in Endgame they were conforting eachother over the deaths of Vision and Natasha. Besides, in the comics, Hawkeye even has romantic feelings for Scarlet Witch at one point.
This is why wanda trusted clint so much that she chose to leave with him, abandoning vision, in civil war.....
So how did Wanda end up hidden with Vision in Infinity War???
This made me feel sad once again for Wanda. She's been blaming her self for every action she made.
Now i get to understand more of Wanda in the new WandaVision series. Every single addvertisements we have seen so far talking about her past. For example the napkin add, they say "When you make a mistake, you actually didnt mean it". This was talking about the Civil War incident that Wanda caused. She must be traumatised.

Exactly! She's experienced so much trauma and she's gorown because of it. That's why I refuse to believe that she's the villain. She's definitely dealing with a lot of grief, but I don't think she would hurt people like that just to help herself. And some people are trying to blame her for ig because her DOB is apparently 1989, like that seems to mean that she's incapable of being traumatised and indoctrinated. She's the victim in this and being an adult doesn't change that

But hey, it is kinda her fault all thos happened. She showed illusion to Tony which triggered him to creating Ultron (if Tony is Ultron's dad, Scarlet Witch is mom) she casted illusion on Banner which made him lose control over the Hulk and destroyed a city (luckily, Tony had Hulkbuster: Veronica and there were no civilian casualties). She and her brother also volunteered to be Hydra's lab rats. And even though I feel their resentment towards Tony but for the rest of the Avengers, they didn't do shit against their parents but still chose to destroy them. I pity her past and life but, she triggered many evil and destructive outcomes out of her own free will.

I watched this movie with my 82 year old mom last Christmas. she asked at the end of Hawkeye's speech - What does she do?? She kicks ass was my reply, and Mom was so there for it.

Well, not really. Wanda was born in 1989, so she was about 26 in 2015. Steve was like 30 there, if you ignore the time he spent in the ice. And Peter was about 14/15 in Civil War which took place in 2016, so there isn't really that much of an age gap. (But I think this comment was made before Wanda's age got leaked, so I will have mercy on you 😉) (And that was sarcastic, sorry I'm really bad at writing without sounding weird or angry...)

I don't think so, she was already on their side by this scene. She just had a breakdown, blaming herself for dooming the world, and killing all those people. Hawkeye just talked her out of it, so she could come out and fight, to fix her mistakes.

Wished that clint showed up in wandavision. It was weird that clint never check on wanda after endgame considering they bonded in AOU and he named his newborn after pietro (middle name). She took a whole town hostage and it made it to the news. Clint would have check up on her. But i guess because of covid restriction it would be tough to get renner on set.

This is not the best recent-ish Marvel movie, but it's not the worst. It has long stretches that encourage you to go to the bathroom or refill your drink, but it also has several scenes that are among my all-time favourites. James Spader as Ultron steals the movie, clearly, but his best scenes are those in which he's simply talking, rather than fighting or whatever. Vision also steals the scenes he's in, and those are among my favourites. But this one really stuck with me. I love this scene.
Hawkeye is one of my favorite Avengers. Very humble, understated and has a normal life outside of “work.” He’s an “every man” Avengers.

oh hell no. can't show this without the rest. one of the best goddamn scenes in the MCU.
This scene feels depressing now after Multiverse of Madness. She turned into exactly what she hated, like Ultron and Thanos. She became a hero to only to end as a much worse villain than she started out as.
Sadly that's true. Hope she comes back and redeems herself now that we are almost certain she is not dead. She and Clint need to have a conversation like this in the future.
