There's always been everything In Encanto. Went to Encanto 78' to 82'. Then to Gompers 83'-84'. Banging was everyday thing. Riding on that Skyline bus. Hood dudes be sitting on the fence. Get down the hill and the bus would get rocked from the ones on the hill up from Sunshine Market. Before Elijah's was across the street. Grew up at the Toppps. Above Quonns Market 65th n Imperial. Gangs have been there back in 78'. Not Just Crips. Lincoln was deep at Atkins and Woodman, in the apartments. LIP JW. back when the road still went through. Safeway had just shut down and Pic nik and Chicken was Howells. Encanto Liqour had the bomb cheese burgers and rolled tacos, Najor and his brothers. REDZONE Arcade.

I used to hop on the trolley from 99-2001 from el cajon to imperial beach to see my girl at the time so I rode thru pretty much the entire line of 20+ stops and every stop back then from el cajon, lemon grove, southeast to southbay was claimed by different hoods and cats would be posted at every stop. Especially southeast. 47 stop was NHC. Encanto stop was Ofarell Skylines and Samoan Bloods. Euclid stop was Emerald and Lincolns mostly. 32 and commerical stop was all West Coasts. Every stop south were all Eses from OTNC all the way down to San Ysidro. That 12th and Imperial transfer station was active af back then too. Squabbles all the time there. Had caught a fade myself at the Palm Ave station lol good times 🚎 🚎 🚎

@@daygo80sbaby25 OTNC was always posted at National City stops but homies from different varrios were posted at stops south of National City. VCV at E/H and Otay at Palomar. Sidro at the Beyer and San Ysidro stops. As far back as the 80's, into the 90's and 2000's.

It's a trip hearing this history because towards Encanto boys club area was Bloods which was south across the tracks from Encanto Park there was also Bloods in that area aswell. But if your from that area we did notice crips forming up there. Didn't know much of the history of them but noticed they were forming up there. 69th St. Skyline Piru Bloods was south of that area. But he's right though it wasn't really a gang Hood in that area for awhile.

@chriskennison3874 Much respect, young homie. This is OG Curt Dog. Your reply to this dude is totally on point. I'm 61 years old and been in Encanto since 1969. I watched every set in san diego start after Hood, Coast, and Brims. Encanto Park "Brangsters" started in 1979, likely before many guys were active. It's history. I can't make this shyt up. All OGs from every set are not the same level. You could be an OG from another set, but still not be the same OG as me, because even though we are the same age, we still started 5 years before others. It's just something to consider. Thanks Chris! Respects!

Crack CHANGED EVERYTHING... Before 1984 (especially compared to now) things were quiet. Different Sets had funk with each other BUT the guys from different sets between 16 and 25 organized football games against one another. They grew up playing Pop Warner against each other. After Crack sales got poppin' real good in 1986. SHEEIT!!! All that was OVER!!! Life has been dangerous AF EVER SINCE!!! The 💩🐂 ever since 1983 makes MFers look bad. F with me, I graduated from the Hive in 1985 and used to swuab in that MFer like Uncle Jerome from Snowfall, 2 and 3 MFers at a time... and I didn't even claim L/P or 5/9.
