What a blessing to have good friends who share the love of sewing and thrifting! I love seeing the sunshine streaming in the back patio, which we are in short supply of, here in the frozen north. Spring is coming! 🙂
What a fun week!!! Loving the Thrift hauls! I've been thrifting quite a lot lately....its slightly addicting!! McCalls patterns here brand new are 8 bucks, I love when I find a pattern at the Thrift Store for .50cents...especially vintage patterns!
Aww Jen you have me in tears talking anout our friendship. I had such an incredible time with you and loved how easy the relationship is. Every moment was MY PLEASURE and I cant wait till our next adventure!!! Please considee me casa su casa ANY time!!! Love you dearly. Thank you for filming the week since that is something I stink at doing. So fun watching us and reliving those moments! See you on Tuesday!! Squeeeeee!!
What a fun week you had with Trish. Great video!!!! Coffee, fabric shopping, beading... what more could two friends want! Okay, maybe some great food and a lot of laughing thrown in there also. 🥰
Friends are very important. I have two good friends, but I don't get to see them, but boy do we talk. I'm in New England. One of my friends is in New England and the other is in Florida. I have been friends with the one in Florida for 70 years and the other one has been my friend for 66 years. We are all turning 80 this year. We talk on the phone at least once a week and the calls are not short. But I would feel lost without these two ladies. As I said, friends are very important. ❤🙏❤🙏❤
Jen and Pinky: you two are so fun! Anyone would love running into you two😂 Pretty pieces and Pinky want to learn to knit😊I’m excited. Wish I was closer, I’d help you, Pinky. There is only two stitches: knit and purl. Start simple: dish cloth. It’s small and easy to count stitches.
Jen, What a fun week! Again I must say you have way better sheets and shower curtains in Florida than I can find in Nebraska!! Every thing is ALWAYS better after spending time with a good friend.!!!
Timing is everything in thrifting. We went to a couple that had nothing. Others had great stuff. I think it's about when you shop about as much as it is where you shop.
Amen he is risen! Congratulations to the winner of the book. I know you will enjoy it. I like the dress you made . It looks great for summer coming up. Happy Easter. It will be our last day to spend with our family down here in Florida. Back to Virginia on Monday.
I enjoyed this thoroughly - thanks for taking us all along! I used to go to Florida to visit my sister and we had a great time shopping together as you two did - unfortunately, she passed away a few years ago but this brought back many happy memories of time spent with someone who was one of my best friends as well as a sister. Happy Easter!
Such fun! It is a blessing to have a special friend. You found great stuff. Moda fabric is the best-- like buttah!! 😂 I have a similar Laura A fabric that I found on clearance at a fabric store a few years ago. I'm going to make a skirt. ❤
You saw the better part of them. There are just a few you didn't - like that cute dress that Trish was wearing. I only left out the Goodwill finds, which were mostly clothing.
I’ve used Rowenta irons for many years. There is something about how you turn it on that addresses the leaking. I really haven’t had much trouble with my irons. When mine turn off it takes no time to get back to temperature.

Y’all found a lot! That porch ❤
That porch is where I spend my life!

Happy Easter! I'm so sorry for your loss but I'm really glad it brought back good memories. Gotta make those whenever possible!

Oooh good idea!
That was sew much fun to watch! How much yardage is in a shower curtain? The last scene was so peaceful.
About 2 ½ yards, usually, at about 60" wide. Maybe slightly less than 2 ½ yards but not much. And oh, that porch, it's like heaven!
When do we get to see the rest of your purchases? I’m hoping we’ll see more of Trish.
You saw the better part of them. There are just a few you didn't - like that cute dress that Trish was wearing. I only left out the Goodwill finds, which were mostly clothing.
Aw you are sweet! You will be seeing more of me!!
I have to use my new seeger and show stuff off lol!!

I've also heard that if you overfill a Rowenta that can cause the leaking. Whatever. That brand has never worked for me!
What happened to no curtains or sheets for fabric any more? Your friends are leading you astray.
LOL we got plenty, I assure you!
