Ours that I drive to for 2-3 hrs one way are usually so tossed that I wonder who is cleaning the place! I’ve been so discussed with Joann’s. Wow! Atlanta might go on my list for a place to go fabric shopping!

I have that Simplicity 9012 pattern .....made it twice two summers ago, one with short sleeves and one sleeveless....love them both and got lots of compliments when I wore them. You've inspired me to bring it out and make a couple more for this summer! I used quilting cottons for the first two, but have been thinking about trying it with material that has a little stretch to it. warm days and ice cream just go together! 🍦🍦

I knew we would forget something and since we go for long times I have my check off list. We live too far to come back to Virginia. However I’m also of mindset if needed we will just buy it.

I’m delighted to find out that you live on my side of Florida. Where do you live? The Joannes here is mainly a quilt and fleece shop. It’s very frustrating once in a while. I will snag a nice piece of garment fabric when the first reprint came out this Joannes did not have the new vogues. But the store manager told me when and if they received them, she would honor the 599 price. So I found the pattern and she honored the price. I’m so happy I will not pay those prices for Vogue patterns. I usually make my own. So like you, I will pick up a collectible pattern unfortunately I have to order more fabric online than I would like because the only brick and mortar in my area is a Joannes. I enjoy your video and I enjoy seeing you again and then please tell me where you are in Florida
Hi Susan! My local store is in Venice, but I frequent the Fort Myers and Cape Coral stores. The Sarasota store on University too, although that less often because the staff there isn't the greatest - nobody seems to know what they're doing and you have to wait for people to appear at the registers to check out. Venice is small but I really like the staff. I used to stop by Port Charlotte but that store is just sad. Way too small and often don't have the patterns I want. The big Fort Myers store on Cleveland is fantastic. I really like that one.
