Julie, I have 2 great friends and my daughter who go thrifting together . 93,78,68,and 44 good ages lol to hit the trail. We've got so many good memories. Both called me yesterday to tell me ,while we were working they were shopping, but saw a dress that I would love. We r so blessed. Keep those videos rolling. We also enjoy both of your daughters videos. I encourage everyone to also follow them.
I’m becoming hooked on your videos and every time I’m thrifting I think of you and things you say! For example today I found a glass water pitcher that I was considering and I said to myself “I better put this in my buggy while I think about it!” By the way I’m from Ohio and we call them shopping carts, but now I find myself saying buggy instead! Love your channel!
As a Believer I keep Passover and not ‘Easter’. I do love to decorate to stay in tune with the seasons but just this past year I didn’t find myself loving all the major change ups so I decided this year to just enjoy fine tuning my regular decor with just enough to nod at the current season. Whew! I think I have worn myself out doing the big change overs with each season. I love fall so much that in years past I even change my curtains to match for fall but I have just lost my energy for quite such a hullabaloo!
🤣 The "pot plant" incident gave me a great laugh. I've heard that my whole life and didn't ever think about that. That fabric might have been cross stitch material. I loved the plate rack and how you styled it! Thanks for your videos and sharing with us.
I decorate for Easter. I still make my 22 and 25 year old daughter’s baskets too. They will always be little girls in my eyes. 😊I love the matches in the salt cellar. Good idea.
Hi Julie, the fabric looked heavy, so I think it was bandage material. I love finding Christmas all Year. I always pick up the muffin tins and individual jello tins, I just think they are cute
Love the pillow case’s, match well with the quilt. What a fantastic idea for the salt cellar, very cute and the plate rack . Have a wonderful weekend Julie ❤
Hello Julie. I hope you had a lovely Saturday. Great fines: green table clothes, blue pillowcase, plate rack, Reindeer candle holder, cute little Jello metal bowls, vintage salt cellar and Nice tops. It was raining all day in Pennsylvania, and we stay home. Rested a lot. For Lunch I made Meatball sandwiches using the softest rolls from BJS Club. My husband made Beef Stew with white rice. I always decorate for Easter. The Dining room table is my main decorating spot is where we have our Easter dinner too. This year we are going to paint wooden eggs that I bought on sale from At Home Store last year. Always buy decorations on sales. I use the Spring flag outside and decorate the front yard too. Blessings. 💖💞💖
Looks like wound bandages because it’s too thick for cheese cloth, I love the salt cellar as a match holder you styled that nicely with the candle and tray. ❤
Looks too thick to be cheesecloth but…I’d use it as Cheesecloth but sometimes I use what they used to call flour sack towels. Love that plate holder you took home.
The double handle sipping cups are great for little guys. Yes society can be a little bit rude. The green table cloth was a good find, I really like the rack for your plates. I'm glad you picked up the Jell-O molds. The cut glass salt well was a great find.
You got some great things today. I decorate for spring with Easter touches and leave it all up until summer. I have rabbits in my spring decor but not Easter bunnies. And it is never a bad time to put out a cross to remind me what Easter is truly about.
You have such a great way of seeing things, Julie. I love how you used those molds, just sitting on a shelf like that. They look awesome! Have a great weekend! 🙂 Oh, and I absolutely DO remember the "pot" plants. hee hee. So funny. Around Eastern PA/NJ, it's called "potted plants", so when you initially said "pot plants", I stopped in my tracks for a minute. 🤣🤣🤣
I think it's wound bandage, I have my apartment decorated for Easter then take that down decorate for Spring. I just love watching your Thrifting and Haul then Decorate.❤
Picture frames can be used as trays! I wrapped the back of one with my grandma’s handkerchief with the glass protecting it! You could do a collage or decoupage the back of a piece of cardboard. This year I decorated for spring which I haven’t done in a decade!
Pot plant is very cute. I live in the coal region of PA. We have some sayings too. A vacuum cleaner is a sweeper, a creek is a crick and cabbage rolls are called pigeons.
Our pastor's wife goes thrifting a lot and she always finds great deals too. I tell he all the time, I believe in finding angels. I loved your tip on using the leftover wax to fill lil things like a pretty salt cellar. I was gappy to see you grabbed it. Blessings!
Hi Julie! I decorate for Easter in every room ! I didn’t put up my Easter village though. Love Spring and Easter! Jesus is Risen! Another idea for the cheesecloth is to cover vents (to catch dust). Thank you for your videos! They are fun to watch to see how you plan to style the treasures! Those metal jello molds would have definitely come home with me! The navy pillowcases look great on your bed!
I have a set of about 10 of the jello or tart tins I have thrifted. I just saw a magazine(which I also thrifted 😊) where they put succulents in them! I enjoy your ideas and videos! The salt cellar match holder! LOVE!
Hi Ms Julie !! What an imaginative use for salt cellar !! Love that !!!!! So pretty ! Love the shelf with the Jello molds (and all else) on it too ! Great shopping . Btw / that looks like cheesecloth. Have a great weekend and week ahead! Thanks fir this! Love to shop with you. ❤xx
I have decorated for Easter and will keep some decor up for Spring until I’m ready to switch out. I love my marble eggs and antique egg cups, Beatrix potter figurines and antique postcards and bunnies. So I definitely enjoy switching out winter to spring decor. I love the little salt bowl you put matches in. Great idea.
Hi Julie. I LOVE Easter and Springtime. This video was so fun. The salt cellar is a wonderful find, the molds and oh my goodness, those Reindeer candle holders!! Have a great week!
Boy the prices were all over the place at that GW. Never heard the term salt cellar, but liked how you used it. I'm looking for a plate rack like that to put my few record albums (just got record player) in. Loved the little primitive reindeer.
Hi Julie! I always decorate for the season instead of the holidays (except when it comes to Christmas, then I go crazy 😊). Hmm in fact I need to put my Springtime decor up. Btw our Goodwill store keeps their Christmas stuff on the first aisle year round. You have a great day ❤!
Hi Julie..not sure but don’t think that is cheese cloth…may be a medical cloth. I do decorate for Easter. I have a lot of vintage Easter decor and an Easter tree. I say I am not going to put it out, but every year I do. I do have two little girls across the street that I can say I decorate for them. I have one of those old metal chairs that I paint a bunny on for my yard, put eggs out, a big concrete bunny with a pretty ribbon around his neck, and just all kinds of Easter. After Easter which I leave up for awhile, I will put out some lighter color decor for Spring. My neighbor brought one the youngest little girl over and she put four baby chicks in my Easter basket and we had an adorable Easter shoot at our house. Chicks are for fresh eggs later. Do you remember when they dyed the chicks blue, green and pink and sold them? I thought it was awful and always wondered if it affected them. I love what you got. My mom used the salt cellar for toothpicks..love the match idea better. I loved the blue bowls with design behind that Christmas platter. I bet you did not pay attention to them…just thought they were different Those were two nice clothes items. I love the way you styled everything. My sister and brother are minimalists ..…they don’t care what I do in our home, but it would drive them crazy at theirs. Thanks Julie…have a great weekend. I can not believe Easter is coming. ❤❤❤ Your girls are doing great on utube. ❤
I'm fairly sure that was a salt cellar. I use to have one just like it but not sure what ever happened to it. I'd forgotten it until I saw it on your video. I'll definitely keep my eye out for it.
I loved how sweet the little salt cellar was and what a great find. It’s always so enjoyable to see what you find and how you’re going to use it in your home. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and your use of your item that you find. Yeah, I don’t think that was cheesecloth that looked like what they wrapped their wounds with are maybe a swollen ankle or something. Oh I’ve had my Easter decoration as soon as Valentines was over, I love to decorate for the holidays . Wonderful and relaxing video .😊 God bless and have an amazing weekend…..🍃🌷🍃
LOL on the muslin material...I wrapped my son as a mummy one year at Halloween with it so with that much I'd say it was used as some kind of prop or mummy
Looks like something that you would have seen in Captain kangaroo from the clock I don't know if I would have painted it or anything like that it reminded me of when I was a little girl watching Captain kangaroo
I think we need to meet in the middle from we live and go thrifting. I am in Alabama. I love the things you find and then style it. I have not put any Easter decor out. The totes are on our porch just waiting there. I found a small decorative jar with lid and made me a match cloche. I love it... Lot cheaper than buying retail. And mine is pretty like yours, too.
Thanks for taking us shopping with you, 😢and I do believe that was cheese cloth. Lov😮e the salt cellar.Have a great a great weekena, and bless you and family.
I need to send u to go thrifting for me you find good things and good tips thank you still getting stronger better you helped me decorate my new home and find things on budget u matter thank u blessed Julie
Im with ya Julie Ive gone from bringing out several bins with lots of bunnies and baskets to one small display on my kitchen table. I do like to purchase specialty napkins and plates for a nice touch though. I love love SPRING AND EASTER!!!
I think you could use that material for either or for both. Yes, the outside of our house is all Eastered up. Yes, that was for salt or pepper but you need the tiny spoon for it. Where do you live with your southern accent? Where do you sell your thing and what name do you go by?
Hello Julie. I decorate for Spring/Summer, Fall and then Christmas. That’s it. I know there are some people (my sister) that decorate for every holiday. Changing decor every month? Not for me.
I used to decorate for Easter, I just haven't had the desire or energy to decorate this year. It wears me thin. Ugh I feel your pain, some days I can't get up after bending down, my knees feel so weak sometimes.
I guess you could make it make for either. Which ever you had a need for. I enjoy watching your videos I love to thrift but currently have a broken leg and ankle. So it’s especially exciting to see all your great finds.
Just a thought. Keep all your Christmas items you are thrifting throughout the year in one spot. Then when it’s time to decorate with them do a video. Love your videos and you!!!
Great pieces you found in your haul today, Julie. You have great taste and again as always styled perfectly. I have an obsession with antique/vintage salt cellars😍, great idea 💡. I usually decorate for Easter but it snuck up on me this year, so I’ll just do Spring decor. I think it might be a large bandage 🤷🏻♀️. Have a great weekend 💜💜💜
Julie, your haul at Goodwill was fantastic. Everything you found is very useful. Hope you and your family have a great weekend. Take care. Cookie in Mandeville Louisiana
I understand the narrow aisles. One of ours has those narrow aisles. I see your Goodwill also thinks highly of itself. The prices are ridiculous. My kids are grown but I still decorate some. This year will be minimum since we are painting kitchen and dining room. Love your finds Julie, nicely placed! 👍❤️
I decorate for the major holidays Xmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter/spring, Fall/thanksgiving. My kids are grown now and I don’t decorate as extensively as when they were home and younger, but I still go heavy on Christmas. The funny thing is that my daughter would roll her eyes when I’d bring out my decor bins when she was a teen, now that she has her own home she is worse than I was and decorates pretty much for every holiday to get her 5 yr old excited 😂😂
Love your videos please keep them coming

Yes little vintage jello molds. I have a collection of them that I display in the glass bowl of my kitchenaid stand mixer 😄
It was ace bandages. I was surprised that you didn't get the little creamer. It was so cute.

Could be the cloth they use to squeeze the milk from the curd to make cheese!

Wrap a large wound or maybe casting mesh. Definitely not cheese cloth.

I think the fabric was for bandages, and I laughed at the pot plant container 😊. I do recall when you said that😁
I said it so much lol.
I love your videos I thrift before but now I do it more after watching your videos I just love what you do with all the things you thrift
I love to go thrifting with you. I always feel like my buggy is right there along with yours.

That was too expensive.
Hello Julie. I decorate for Spring/Summer, Fall and then Christmas. That’s it. I know there are some people (my sister) that decorate for every holiday. Changing decor every month? Not for me.

Great way to display the platters! Great price for the jello molds! Thanks for sharing!

I laughed about the pot plant Container too
Great pieces you found in your haul today, Julie. You have great taste and again as always styled perfectly. I have an obsession with antique/vintage salt cellars😍, great idea 💡. I understand the narrow aisles. One of ours has those narrow aisles. I see your Goodwill also thinks highly of itself. The prices are ridiculous.
Loved the salt cellar, reindeer and I would have grabbed the angel trinket dish. Those tops were cute and the shelf on your backsplash is a great idea. Did you hang it with the Command hooks?
I thoroughly enjoyed that video today Julie. Love the salt cellar ❤
I’ve decorated some for spring .
Loved the tablecloth pattern 😯
Those perfume bottles would look great on a vanity
The only thing that is decorated is the cross where we put the purple on it that my son made me that’s it. I don’t decorate anything else anymore. My kids are grown and my grandkids are 15 and 16.
Clever to put the match striker on the bottom of the salt cellar.
Hi Julie 💓 happy friday thanks for taking us along trifting I really love the match striker brilliant idea always Laura
We call them Pot Plants in Australia and no I don’t decorate for Easter .
Great video Julie! I love how you used the salt cellar! I get so many ideas from watching you & your daughters videos. Have a great week ❤

Awesome! Thank you! Now I want to collect more.
two jello molds putctogether make a cute little pumpkin
fun cideo!
and I think the fabric is from a failed diy 😂
We don’t do anything for Easter, our family doesn’t speak to us, we are working at our church, we have 3 services and I do the coffe bar and greet all three services, so we will be tired, my husband does security
