I like your Nick Cage pillow. I rewatched this last night and it was one of Cage's best acting roles. Robert "Hunter" Hansen died in 2014. May he not rest in peace

Just FYI: I live in Anchorage and can tell you that moose really DO wander into downtown.
And: It's pretty accurate in terms of the real-life story.

I live in Anchorage. Moved up here in mid-80s after he was caught. The movie was actually filmed in Anchorage, and the surrounding scenes were in Alaska too. That's unusual as most movies set in Alaska are usually not filmed here. They are typically filmed in Canada or the Pacific NW due to higher costs of filming here. I remember when they filmed this movie, because again so unusual to have movie makers come here! The overall story about this horrible man was accurate, but the whole bit with the Vanessa Hudgens character continuing to be involved in being interviewed and being chased by Bob and that end scene is completely Hollywood. Sadly, her escaping and police not believing her because Bob got people to be his alibis, is true. That time period in Alaska it was easy for people to go missing without people noticing. The building of the Alaska pipeline attracted tons of people to Alaska and Anchorage became a bit of a boom town. Large numbers of people drifting in and out of the state made it easy for people to go missing without anyone noticing them. Especially strippers and prostitutes, which that population also exploded during the pipeline building days. These women were especially vulnerable because they weren't "important." Grrrr, still makes me angry the Anchorage police didn't take all these missing women cases seriously, sooner.. It's not nearly as "wild west" in Alaska anymore, but this is still a place it's easier for people to go missing without being noticed. Whether the person is intentionally trying to go missing or not.

Hey Jen! If I'm not mistaken Cage has a new movie out called " PIG" seriously in the prevue's Cage is saying "they stole my pig". Canadians already know this : A moose will stomp you to death do not get chummy with a moose.

Unfortunately my mom knew him, he was running the Bakery in Muldoon. He literally lived down the street from us in Anchorage, and was nice to most customers. But we didn't know the dark secret he kept. It's absolutely insane... #AnchorageAlaska #Muldoon

Cage and Cusack were in the ‘97 Michael Bay movie “Con Air”. They didn’t have a lot of screen time together it that one. If you like cage rage you have to watch “Kiss of Death”, from 1995. Every time he’s on screen, he steals the scene. You would be surprised by the cast of that movie as well.

I haven't seen this one before. I did see him in "Guarding Tess" from 1994 which I liked, he's a Secret Service man protecting former a First Lady played by the great Shirley MacLaine. Haven't seen it in ages.

More great serial killer films that are pretty accurate are: 10 Rillington Place, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, The Boston Strangler and The Black Panther.
