Slingshot is better than most think. Killshot was never about having high hp, it's about speed and movement. If you're good at not getting hit with Killshot, slingshot is like having a second Killshot in your hangar. That's useful for a few different scenarios...
ur not an end game guy... killshot before update was paper thin armor mech..., slingshot is wet tissue armor mech... i.e killshot before update had low health but slingshot is much more fragile and can easily get oneshot

I’m pretty sure they updated the javelin’s targeting, because it used to be much easier to dodge them back then. Now they follow you even with killshot’s dash. I noticed this a while back after one of the updates, ever since then I’ve benched killshot to start ranking him up. He is now 4* and still barely stands when I bring him out

Make a spotlight for those weapons which didn’t have one (aka em rifles, disrupters, chain guns, etc). Fusions, frags and helix don’t need one cuz they function like existing weapons with different stats

Honestly slingshot is actually a really nice mech although hit has low hp. I’m in division 4 and slingshot has proven to be great in my hanger although killshot and surge are way better slingshot is a nice way to see how surge and killshot abilities work. Slingshot is best for capturing control points.

slingshot, killshot, nomad all 3 robots have the same move, which is to glide and deal AOE damage when hitting the enemy. Even if you have no idea, don't do that, it loses the value of the killshot ;-;

Honestly when i first heard the name of this mech and also know that its a nerfed version of killshot, i thought slingshot's ability is similiar to the name itself. I thought that you still have the dash ability but with a windup animation like its wheel would charge before going, but its really just a weaker killshot.
I never understood why you guys would make 2 mechs, to replace 2 other mechs, with abilities that are far weaker with no exciting change whatsoever. I expected to see slingshot and puma get their own versions of kill shot and panther’s ability. Like for example, puma could have had a thermal wall that would only heat up opponents, while slingshot could deal more damage the more it stayed on its dash ability (but not to killshot’s extent). There was a lot of missed opportunity with these 2 mechs and this is what caused their downfall

F2P players get the short end of the stick. Slingshot isn't even half as good as Killshot. The best guns are too expensive, and we're left with the piss poor arc torrents 6, while the no-skill buyer has max upgradd Killshot with arc torrents 12 or something💀

My guess is, since they promised us the gear hub, there'll be no more income from those mech and weapon shop offers. So they have to make up for that by nerfing our A-coin income so that ppl will buy those A-coin offers more.

When I had my old account, I installed a shotgun 2 for my slingshot. I have shotgun 4 on Killshot.

Killshot is my favorite. I like pairing it with Carbines but guided weapons are great too

A Tank with 75,000 HP isn't a great Tank, I'd suggest 160,000 HP minimum
