At some point, I want to make an obviously horror indie game with huge massive red flags that something horrible is happening
And then have nothing scary at all happen in the game
Ah so like a reversal horror game. Instead of a cute game with horror aspects near the end, it's a horror game with horror aspects but nothing really happens in the game.
Starts off all cute, then goes into suspicious behavior to make the player paranoid right before revealing that nothing's wrong. Or IS i-No really it's all cute and innocent.
So like... an infinite horror buildup of suspense and then it just... ends, leaving you anxious

@@justinbuergi9867You should add lots of choices too, so that they’ll spend more time trying to figure out how to get the ‘Bad ending’, just to find out there isn’t one.
The body floating was always there from the beginning, I know because FusionZ found it. I think it’s supposed to be the previous owner of the house you’re in

Reindeer purposely eat them to trip ball because it doesn’t hurt them. Also people will drink the reindeer pee to trip because the poison isn’t in it but tripping chemicals are still them.

So I think I might have noticed something with each of the cats, each cat dies correlating to what you gave them, can't be sure, we know all four die but only two confirm what they died from.
Cat 1: swallowed shiny stones and burst their stomach,
Cat 2: died of poison from the mushrooms they ate,
in theory:
Cat 3: is the one on the bonefire and the one that asked you to gather sticks to make it,
Cat 4: the cat that asked you to gather pumpkins for the pies in the one who's head in found on a pie.
Didn't notice that! Good theory!
The pumpkin pie cats head is in the pumpkin pie, and the bonfire guy is in the bonfire

I really want you to play this game again to see if there are any more secrets because at 5:16 you can see that there’s the purple body floating in the water before the game gets dark.

K, I have a little theory. The body floating in the water was there since the very begining, so I think they were the previous owner of the house. I also don't think they were murdered, at least not directly. The gray cat mentioned that the bridge was out of order because of a storm, and the dead cat had drowned and was wearing what looked to be swimwear. Our cat moved in not long afterwards, so the dead cat was probably mad that they had been replaced so quickly, and either possessed or made the other cats crazy until they offed themselves with the item our character gathered for them throughout the week. This spirit also maybe possessed out character since our face glitches and we look like the other townsfolk. Just an idea, though.

I just how realized how much horror media is profiting off nostalgia currently, especially horror games. FNAF, BATIM, and of course, Animal Crossing. Guess nothing scares us more than turning our most remembered and loved mascot into absolute monstrosities.
Kinda like person you know to be nice and chill, suddenly have a personality change.
Well Scott said FNAF was a kids game even though there's a creepy story behind it with lots of gore with fan games inspired by FNAF so it's kinda a horror game
@@zurq9179 and speaking of Fnaf I'm curious about the DLC in security breach(luckily I'm not scared of animal animatronics they never scare me because of my soft spot with animals! But I do have mixed opinions about Monty! It's the human animatronics managed to scare me because I watch the terminator movie when I was little! But they were a few human robots I actually like! Ballora it's one of them)

@@zurq9179 well I always say to myself and others people have their opinions I have my own so it's best we respect each other's wishes(to let you know I wasn't always hating monty! Before the rumours about him began! I used to like Monty and the way he looks! But because of his angry and rude personality and the rumour I heard what he done to bonnie. I began to hate him even there is evidence to prove it wasn't him who did commissioned bonnie! It's hard to believe those evidence! Because of the coincidence bonnie was missing in Monty's gator golf and Monty replace bonnie report! Unless the rumour it was Monty fault how decommissioned bonnie is false! There is nothing changing my mind! If it wasn't for my soft spot with animals I would hate him 100%! Now it's only 99%! Especially Monty went too far when he's planning to take down Freddy! That's how I began to distrust and hatred towards monty eversince Fnaf security breach was released)
Games that build the scare and horror rather than just jumpscares are much better for me. U can really feel the chill in ur spine and the goosebumps

Imagine being a guy who moved in not shortly before the festival, but a month or so before it. Then the festival comes and it's a shock to see everyone dead.

The cat that wanted shiny stones had the pie cat cut his stomach open,put the shiny stones in,the sew it up
I believe this is a reference to an old fairy tale where a wolf had its stomach filled with stones and was sent into the water,hence the reason he wanted to go swimming
Over the last few years we been getting more and more horror games based of 64 era and I'm all for it there was always a un ease of the limited models, foggy draw distance and more that made some games feel really "off" and with this game it captures what it was going for beautifully thanks for playing it for us.
Man this Animal Crossing update sure is weird.

I love the concept of seemingly cute horror games styled in the N64 or GameCube styles. Like that style just brings the feeling of something being off with it and the low poly look makes it feel interesting and adds to the appeal
I actually love how the MCs face snapped to look at the viewer/player when near the floating body

The face change thing was very well made. It lasted for a longer time each time which really made me anxious lol

I actually really like this game, it's story seems well thought of even if it isn't the full story clearly. The faces are actually quite horrifying but good and you slowly grow comfortable with them, I kinda want there to be a larger better adaptation of the game, with a full-fledged story, and maybe more areas for more Easter eggs like the drowned cat, I like the graphics though, they can stay the same.

Amanita muscaria is the scientific name for the fly agaric mushroom, a mushroom species that has entheogenic(or psychoactive properties that affect mood, perception, consciousness, cognition, and/or behavior and is commonly used in sacred/spiritual ceremonies). the fly agaric has been used in africa(most notably the Bwitists), the americas(most notably aztecs and mayans), Asia(basically every religion from hinduism to buddhism to christianity has used the agaric fly mushroom), Europe(even back to the ancient greeks), and Oceania. Amanita is the genus that the agaric fly mushroom belongs to. I was like 'yeah that is latin but latin doesn't always mean it's a thing to be translated it might be referring to a scientific name or something like that'

They are easily recognisable from their red/red-orange caps with white spots/specks. Eating one of these will lead to death if you don't get medical help, but even then, it might not save the consumer in time.

Hi, SuperHorrorBro. I just want to say that I am a fan of your stories explained videos and your trailer reactions. If possible, I'd love to see you react to a couple of trailers for some upcoming games. The first one is The Last Case of Benedict Fox, a Lovecraftian Metroidvania style game expected to come out sometime this year. The second is of a gothic horror turn based JRPG called Penny Blood, which is currently in development and expected to come out in 2025. Both of these games are pretty fantastic in their own right, and I feel like these would be games that you'd be interested in checking out (IDK if you're interested in JPRGs, but I believe the theming for Penny Blood would certainly be up your alley.) Keep up the good work, and I'm looking forward to checking out more of your content.

They poisoned themselves. The mushrooms you gave them were extremely poisonous, and they ate all of them. The poison killed them.

it's hard to take this game seriously with the squidward step sound effect and the characters all talking in cutesy uwu~ furry flirting txt language with emoticons :3
the final horror scene doesn't land because no tension or mystery was built up, there was nothing really "haunted" or "cursed" about it, and it feels like the creator just wanted to test out a video glitch effect they found on some website lol
if i could re-do this game i'd have there be a couple of "town leader" sort of characters who are encouraging everyone to work on the festival, maybe when the mushroom cat says he's too lazy to work on the festival, after collecting rocks for the rock cats you see a small scene the town leaders intimidating him, maybe after you help everyone they come to your house and insist that you contribute something to the festival and then at the festival you have to run away from them because they want to sacrifice you, or maybe after the scene where you see everyone dead at the festival your little objective thing says "run away! get to the beach!" and when you get there a spooky entity emerges from the water to get you

this reminds me of a sign that was put up 2 or 3 halloweens ago in my little town by the old church that barely anyone goes to. it's got a massive empty parking lot, and for halloween one year, they were planning an event for the schoolkids, so as you drove by there was a big sign next to it that read "CHILDREN'S HARVEST"
the sign was not used again the following halloweens
i think someone complained and said it was too scary bc when i drove by it i SCREAMED at how absurd it was LOL
even worse, it was only a few blocks from the school and right next to my house. and on halloween night there were some red lights coming from inside!???? i keep joking to my friends how my town is going to turn into a horror tv series or something but weird stuff keeps happening in my town ">> there are so many cursed things that happen and that have happened here it's kinda awesome

You should really do a deep dive on Isle, a surprisingly good game on roblox. There's a lot of really mysterious and down right terrifying things below the surface, and has countless hours of playtime and plenty of replayability.
