- This is one of my favorite setups to date. The idea of building out, what is basically a container, in a luxury setup is super neato. You're not tied to any vehicle platform, it's easy(ish) to move and the possibilities are endless.

This guy and Bliss Mobil are my hero's. I come from a design and drafting/CAD background and I am designing my own personal overland/expedition vehicle and I realize the huge benefit of a low center of gravity (CG) which reduces the body roll of the habitat and the entire vehicle. To hear him mention the air con unit was on the floor to keep the CG as low as possible was amazing to hear, I have no doubt this company employees engineers not just designers and builders and that is evident. As with this Bliss unit my habitat design has everything heavy on the floor, batteries, inverters, fresh water tank, grey tank, air con unit, only under-counter fridge and freezer instead of a tall stacked model. Experienced thru-hikers pack a large backpack the same way, heavy stuff on the bottom and lighter stuff at the top to keep the CG as low as possible. If you put heavy items up top of a backpack if you lose balance or footing top heavy packs can quite literally cause you to tumble over. Not only was the mention of CG impressive, but all of the tanks that have water are in the heated/insulated envelop of the habitat so nothing can freeze. He also mention "redundancy," chefs kiss, with only single system if it fails and you are 500 km out in the Moroccan desert you are screwed. The duel filtered water system is awesome as well. Why have only one filter system under the sink for drinking water, that means that your tank and water lines are contaminated from drawing up stream or lake water, filtering it before it even goes into the tank is excellent and then filtered and UV sanitized a second time is fantastic. The European expedition vehicle companies are a big step up from anything in the US.
It's insane how much better and how much cheaper this is, compared to the Earthroamer...

Just remember guys, starts at a little over 200k so average price of a used some cases (VERY USED) home that needs 50-100k to make it modern. 11ft is small for sure but you can take your brand new modern habitat to 75% of the world……or spend the same amount sitting in your nasty used EMPTY home not fully furnished. You would be VERY surprised to find out if you put apples to apples on price if you had the money and have retirement , you could travel the road cheaper and happier or spend more unhappy in a house. Make a spread sheet and prove me right. I already did and I was shocked.
