Hi! Not sure if it’s too late to mention, but I actually have this very same fogger. I will tell you that the small clear neck attachment piece is placed big side attached to the black piece on top. When I went to put mine together, not gonna lie, I had to use some force to get it to snap into place. But I guess that’s how tight it’s supposed to fit, so that condensation and fog does not leak from that area. With that being said, that clear neck piece should COMPLETELY cover that black top piece. Otherwise, you set it up perfectly! Also when I initially set up my fogger, I placed the hose up on top like you did, but water would collect at the crease and cause no fog. Luckily I have a screen enclosure for my chameleon, so I just used some clear fishing line to tie around the hose and attached the hose to the side of the enclosure. Haven’t had problems with water collecting since then. I personally like this fogger a whole lot more than the Zoo Med version that I used to use. I hope that this comment helps somebody out there! P.S. The Zoo Med brand 3 way splitter CAN be used with this product. However, I couldn’t get the hoses to sit properly in a way that would allow water collection inside the hose to flow back down into the reservoir (causing no fog). IF you can place the hoses at just the right angle, this 3 way fog splitter can allow you to place 3 separate hoses amongst one cage, OR 3 separate hoses for 3 separate enclosures.
I have the same one put the hose into the clear adapter piece and then attach the small end of the clear adapter piece onto the top of the unit where the black male connection part is. It will make a tight seal and everything will work properly.
I had the ever green unit. Easy fix to the hose not staying on the unit is a hose clamp. I was def confused by the part seemingly not being right and the hose not fitting but the clamp fixed it .
i just got this it makes no sound but even the lowest setting makes way too much fog i have a red foot tortoise and i had a lid on the tank and it was all white i recommend for frogs and geckos…

I bought this fogger and had the same leak in where the hose attaches until i pressed the connector harder. It snapped in place an no more leak

I looked on your website and all of the geckos were minimum $200. Do you not breed normal ones for just pets? I might be mistaken
I mainly focus on high end geckos for other breeders and collectors. Most of my geckos are in the $200-$600 range.
Any idea how long the 2 liters of water lasts?
It seems to last me 10-12 days or so in my daughter's 18x18x24 with it running 3x a day for a half hour each on low.
