I've seen many channels where the guy claims to be a motorcyclists and they talk all technical shit and own 700 cc bikes and all but you guys are the real freaking deal. True motorcyclists period.Would love to learn from you guys..
Having a sound knowledge abt motorcycles is also one of the important things. And owing super bikes really doesn't mean u have to go fast everywhere. Tracks are the only place where that should be shown, not any random public roads. (Nothing against this youtuber, infact he handles the bike perfectly.)

CBR250R is a tried and proven machine..nothing much have changed since 2011, except for some Bold New Graphics and LED headlight . The BS-IV Version's actually slower than the older version. But, saying all that old dosen't necessarily mean bad..The engine is still one of the best in the 250cc segment available in India right now. But, chassis and suspensions development have progressed quite a bit from 2011. So, for canyon carving..on the handling department the SF250 have huge advantages. Power wise, the Cbr250R will still win if the straight is long enough. But user friendliness will go to the SF250. An average guy will be able to ride the SF250 fast without much adaptations needed. But, the soft suspensions and slow steering CBR250R need more time to truly get the max out of it. That's what technology does..within a short period of time. If it's only commuting your doing no point in shifting to the SF250. But ,if testing your limit every Sunday is your thing..Gixxer is the way to go.

It will be a great bike for touring with its comfortable riding position. And yes, even we have raised some concerns about the front brake. Rear is fine.. in fact it's great but the front lack the response and initial bite. If you squeeze hard enough..it performs ok but, lacks initial bite.

If sport riding is your thing..the SF will run rings around the Fz25. But if city commuting with a passenger and is strap for cash is how you'll use the bike mostly..the Fz25 is a great alternative.
Is it possible to install Gixxer 250 handlebars in Fazer 250 as they both share same 41mm forks will that improve handling?what alternate handlebar will u suggest for Fazer 25?
Not sure the clip ons from Sf will work on the FZ25 as you need to fit the top triple clamp as well. It's not only the size of the fork to take into considerations, to fit the top clamp the distance between the two forks and the lower clamp stem has to be taken into consideration. For an FZ25 look at R15V3 but I don't think it will work.

The riding position is at par with old Gixxer SF , but u have to stretch your hand a little bit to reach the clip onn handlebar. I had no wrist pain or back ache so far. I owned Gixxer SF 150 before this , it took me about 200kms ride to get adjusted to new position . Performance wise it’s good in city , power is available throughout the rpm range .....gear shifts are smooth and precise ........head light throw is just amazing......breaking is quite good .......and i didnot like the exhaust sound and horn ...........mirrors function well .......top speed I cannot comment Cuz bike is still in break in period ......sry for late reply

The Gixxer SF 250 has one of the smoothest power delivery for all types of riders. If one wants an aggressive power delivery, use powertronic piggyback ecu for that or a free flow sports exhaust.
lalrintluanga vanchhawng yes it is smooth I agree on it. But compare to Honda CBR. I didn’t felt like Gixxer 250 has same Peter like of CBR 250. No offence just a personal view. Need to ride Gixxer than will know it.

Slight high pitch vibration at really high revs. Handling is much better than V3 as it is much more stable at high speed corners.
