Yes Gixxer doesn't have a slipper clutch but if you blip the throttle right before you downshift along with a slit pull of the clutch it rev matches, giving you engine braking. It's pretty easy, you'll have to practise it a few times and you'll get it. Although I do recommend you to learn it on a small cc bike.

I don't understand what you mean by higher models, if its like higher models of gsxr itself then all other higher cc bikes of Suzuki are two cylinder and upward so they will sound better than a single. But trust me when I say this, SF 250 is a very sweet sounding bike especially in the higher revs. People will turn around with curiosity, when you zoom past them.

A very good bike. I also bought this bike in Taiwan. The latest version of 2023 just doesn’t have the so-called new dashboard and navigation.
I like the older display without navigation. The new one looks generic to me.
