I have followed your example step by step. But, when I go to create the Sweep I get an Input Error message: BRepFill_Sweep::BuildEdge. I have tried it many times only to get exactly the same result. Where am I going wrong?
hallo the freecad i am using is ver 0.20 the 2 sketches must bee fully constrained. the sketches must have the same length the circle arce shute not bee a arc it shute be a flate arce. now go to curves wb select the 2 sketches holding the ctrl key pusch the flag icon in the curves WB. the curve it make shute have round corners or it will not work. now go back to part design select the flag curve and pusch blue face binder ico to put the curve in to the Blue Body pres ok. the circle you wishes to sweep around shut bee in the center of the flag curve. select the circle and the blue face binder pres the sweep ico and it shut work
@@madslethdanielsen2099 I watched someone else's video of the exact same part. They chose a more convoluted way of getting the job done. I like your method much better. However, although I'm using the same version of Freecad and I've followed your instructions from start to finish, again I get the same result. I will try the same method with a different design to see if I get it to work. Thank you very much for your videos and for getting back to me so fast.

How do you make a surface or better yet a solid out of the mixed curve instead of a swept pipe?
