    Hi! How have you found the metal braces and bottom of the soles hold up after walking on them long term? As it's normal for shoes to wear down, get scuffed, holes, things get stuck in them, etc., how have the bottoms of the shoes held up to that? Have things gotten stuck, specifically in the metal, and worn down the metal so they don't attach as well? I w ant to be able to _walk_ in the shoes without worrying about scuffing and damaging the connecting points making it unusable / unsafe to use the skating portion. Thank you~

      Hi,
      I was concerned about this too but so far I had no problems with it other than the occasional mud, but the holes are big enough that usually nothing stay in them and since they sit higher than the rubber sole, that seems enough protection from wear and tear. It is more the attach and dettach of the plate what causes some wear on the metal parts bu tthey are still working on mine :) I hope that helps!

    I wanna buy these so badly just to skate around my neighborhood once in awhile. Normal skates ALWAYS cuts the back of my ankles and I don't know why. The skate shoes are always so heavy for me. Nice video. I'm not sure what size to get. My Vans sneakers are all Eu43, but when i measure my feet, it's 27cm and their sizing chart says 27,2cm = eu42. The chart also says US10 men = 43. So even with the chart, there's a difference. Do i follow my shoesize 43 or the cm guiding?

    • @RAGNAROLL
      @RAGNAROLL  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The best is that you contact Slades directly. Double check you are measuring the foot correctly against a wall, but usually I would go for a 43 same as the shoes.

      Did you get yourself a pair? I usually use my Mondo measurements as a guide. Shoe sizes differ, but metric measurements are constant. I have 265mm which would still be a 41 in their size chart (so 42 to be safe).

      Hi,
      Yes right, I also thing they are different than other skates. I mean like the are totally ok to skate around, so if you plan to just skate in flat these boots when fully tight work well. But it you plan to do like longer distance, dancing, or any sort of intense skating then I would recommend you skates with more ankle support and probably better wheels. I hope that helps :)
