IMO - Beverly Cannone is angry, because Karen's defense team wanted her to recuse herself before the trial. However, that does not make it right for the judge to openly show favoritism towards the prosecution. Can this bias be used as a justification for the defense team to request a mistrial?

Is it common for the judge and or the attorneys to request so many "sidebars" and
"May I approach"? I am trying to watch the trial like I am a juror. I find the judge's behavior and the interruptions to be very distracting. The judge complained that the attorneys were taking too long. That said she keeps interrupting and often abruptly ending the questioning.

This whole thing is ridiculous. Like the other day the judge asked for police reports to be emailed to her before trial the following day. Because the defense wanted to bring up certain topics based on cw and witnesses opening the door..... And when the defense came in the next day the judge said they won't be able to talk about that police report because they never emailed her in time.... And the defense said your honor I emailed you last night just as you requested.... And she replied well I haven't checked my email..... Lmao..... What!!!! I'm hoping she means she will check that and then allow it in. But the way she left things off seemed like she wouldn't.... And this is one example of many.

I agree that being friends doesn't make you complicit, but it DOES mean that no police officer with those levels of familial and long time friend connections should ever be allowed to participate in interviews, crime scene evidence collection, or unrecorded conversations with any possible suspects. Because just like every other cw witness they somehow only remember the facts that help frame Karen r.... But don't recall most of anything else.... It's also shocking to see how people still blatantly lie under oath. And also frustrating to see this judge shut down the defense so much... Especially on subjects that the cw or cw witnesses open the door on. I've never seen a trial that had this many red flags and clear signs of police misconduct... Or shady investigations... Be it on purpose or just incompetence. But it just looks too much like it's being done on purpose... It's one thing to have one or two errors during an investigation but this case has too many to count and the defense hasn't even really started yet.... Police reports with things "left out" or addresses or times being wrong... Evidence being collected in red solo cups.... Phones and cars searched before search warrants.... Blatant lies such as saying the snow plow driver never drove down that street.... Something the defense has already proven was true... And in fact the owner of that company said he told the detective that but it was written in the report that he didn't drive down that street.....much more as well as cw witnesses lying on stand. This is sad to watch.

I think this all stems from the young boy running through John yard. John said he was only joking. Went home told his mom and she told the “family” and they didn’t see it as a joke. I feel he ended up at the Albert party and something was mentioned and it started a drunken fight and they started fighting and the dog jumped in and attacked. As for the missing shoe I’m guessing since it was snowing maybe they had to take their shoes off and in the early morning he left and passed out in the yard. Possibly wasn’t able to get the other shoe on. The Chris Albert man said he just woke up on his own but his wife said she woke him up. I’m not sure about Karen saying she hit him. They might cause the jury to think more about that. Unless there is a witness who can prove she didn’t say it. I think it’s a cover up to many situations the “family” and their friends know every cop and fire department and rescue personal. The house was in the family for 30+ years and they just sell it shortly after

    • @marjory642

Completely agree. All of these people grew up in Canton, they were connected and here comes John yelling at an Albert kid because he cut through his grass, how dare he. It seems like to them is was a sign of disrespect, John had to apologize to the kid and say he was joking. It was no joke if John ended up putting up a fence, maybe to stop disrespectful, entitled kids from cutting through his grass? I firmly believe this is a coverup. I hope John’s family is able to find the answers they need.

Then she left him to freeze after swiping him. Why has her story changed numerous times ? First she said she didn’t drop him off. Then She said she dropped him off and waited for 10 mins and then said saw him walk in. She somehow sees the body when no one else can and says it’s him. Why Doesn’t she then go to the door and ask what happened ? Does she say what happened ? No she says I hit him hit him. She later says she was too drunk too remember. Glass is in her bumper. She is a story teller. No innocent person in that scenario says I hit him. She wasn’t getting threatened in a confined space. Why lie and say she last saw him at the pub ? She’s totally guilty of manslaughter and considering she probably could have saved him worse. She let him freeze. No cops are going to belt up a man and lay him in their front lawn. That is ridiculous. She’s a snake witch. Now she has a fan base like it’s a game. The sheep have followed this conspiracy theory. So what if people know each other. It’s a small town. If you are interested in who really did this, watch any interview with ex DEA agent Sean McDonough. It’s mind blowing. JO was killed inside that house and they were hoping his body would be buried and his injuries blamed on the snow plow, until Karen found him, then they planted evidence and pinned it on her. The truth will come out and justice served eventually. The feds are all over it.

At this point, it’s going to take three months to get through this trial!! I do like the judge but let’s be honest the police did a horrible job investigating, and I do not trust Karen, I feel as though she was drunk,..her and John had a fight because they have been fighting for months regarding him cheating, I think she hit him with her car and went home, went to bed and didn’t realize how badly she hit him! I mean, she admitted more than once that she hit him & that it was her fault that this happened ,..Strictly my opinion of course, I’ll be very interested to see how this plays out. I’m thinking possibly a hung jury or reasonable doubt.

So because her boyfriend died and she is now being charged for his murder means she should never smile, she should always look depressed, sad and angry. But if she smiles or laughs then she is guilty? A person can be all cried out or maybe she is super focused on the case and proving her innocence.
