    Doubt: why is northeast considered as dry region (when there is huge rivers n meghalaya also receives huge rainfall)?
    May be because of lack of evaporation, so lack of moisture in the environment n hence dry?

      May be bcz:
      1. Its landform is HARD ROCK, so water doesn't penetrate into the surface & it keeps on flowing downward.
      2. Since most of the area is hilly so water doesn't get collected anywhere.

    Sir sadiya town is in Assam but here it says the confluence of dihang dibang and lohit is in Arunachal Pradesh .

      no sadiya town is actually on the border of assam so the west of sadiya is in arunachal pradesh which is why the book mentions arunachal pradesh
