Literally like all those DC-10 incidents… by that point it was basically a laughing stock and then being responsible for bringing down the most glamorous and prideful passengers jet in the skies is just the fattest L in aviation history. Just embarrassing… if all those events happened today the DC-10 and any variation of it like the MD-11 would never be able to fly again honestly. People think comedy was more relaxed back then. They obviously haven’t met the DC-10 not getting perma banned from the air 💀
