Impromptu Matiang'i visit suprises Kisauni education officials

Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi and Majaoni Primary School Head Teacher Wellington Mwatsama during an impromptu visit by Ministry officials in Kisauni, Mombasa County.
The CS warned school heads against misuse of the Free Primary School funds channeled to them. He also asked the County Education Directors to deal with absenteeism among teachers.

We are all not paid enough but we are always at our work stations serving kenyans, kwani what is special with teachers? The moment I will feel am not being well remunerated I will quit and let those who can handle the small pay continue.
