That is until when the mother legalise the documents of the child using proper channels but still the place of birth on the passport remains "somewhere above (insert) feet in the air". Judiciary does not give the court orders to a lawyer. Educate yourself on the process of serving court orders.
motosana1 reread the statement and understand before replying. Lawyers in court represent their clients AND THEREFORE MUST TAKE DIRECTIONS FROM THEIR CLIENT. Matiang’i was a responded in the court and was represented by his lawyers. HE MUST HAVE GOTTEN ORDERS FROM THE COURT (irrespective of who served it) and therefore cannot say that he hasn’t receive any court orders. You should be well conversant with FUNDAMENTALS OF LAW YEAR 1 my friend..
How about YOU first learn English and SPELLING before you yap about the law? It is the COURT that issues and delivers orders not lawyers. We do not respond to TV, newspapers and social media court sermons. Let them prove they served the three gentlemen. Meanwhile use your bile in joining the NRM 'bring back MM' hunger strike.

True lies, many Kenyans in the diaspora are stranded to get back their passports in the countries that allow dual citizenship. My friends are stranded in UK and since last year they have been unable to get back their Kenyan passport despite applying to regain their citizenship. This is just Mr Matiang'i's show. You should truly hear from those affected not politicians.
I have different experience. I applied for mine from the USA in 2013, and although it took a while to get processed, I eventually got it back. I also know a few Kenyans that have had the same experience here in the USA.

Do you believe the Canadian consular officer went to JKIA to attempt to assist in getting him to have the same passport signed? Do you believe he tore the forms intended to regularize his papers? Miguna was kidnapped and deported illegally by government therefore it was the government's responsibility to return him to where they got him. This government propaganda about his canadian is a non-issue. They took his Kenyan passport and therefore had an obligation to return it. The committee is a kangaroo court well chereographed to do damage control but its late. Kenyan government looks ridiculous and have hit a panic mode.
