Simple composition and arrangement on the Synthstrom Deluge

The Synthstrom Deluge has been taking most of my attention the past month. It's a fantastic groovebox and synthesizer that is more than capable of producing full songs with complex sound design and arrangement. I wanted to create a video that was completely improvised including sound design, composition, and arrangement. In under 20 minutes I go from basic square waves to a multi-section piece of music -- all while sitting under a tree in the park. Sorry for the hiatus, I'll have another video out on the Roland S-1 doing Aphex Twin in a few days.

Nice job.
One of the reasons I got the Deluge was the ability to record a jam onto the SD card. I could go out to the woods with just the device, do my thing, boom.

Recording straight to card is such an underrated feature of the Deluge. You can make a track, flip it, use it in another track, record that track out...all without glancing at a computer screen?? Insane. Thanks for your comment! I really liked your "be a kid" video from the other day

Thanks for watching - I'm using the latest 1.1 firmware and I love it. I just posted a short where I was jamming using the performance mode. I'll add it to the schedule to release something more indepth though!
