Nice. Good idea with the arpeggio and the chords. I got one a couple of weeks ago. I'm playing around with it, and I'm enjoying it. The manual is ok a a reference, but hopeless when you are just trying to figure out the very basics - like how to get a sound out of it at al, apart from the pre-programmed sequences. I play with it for a half hour or so at a time, then leave it, to stop getting too frustrated.
Thanks for watching - what type of sounds are you looking for? I could do a video breaking down sound design options with the S-1, if that would be helpful.
@@markyounq I have an S-1 and I just ordered a used DigiTakt. I am a complete noob to making music, but I loved how you created sounds from the S-1 that I haven't heard anyone else do. So for me, definitely more on the S-1!
@@joelsink you've got an excellent combo there with the digitakt + S-1. Very well chosen. I'll make some sound design tutorials when I find the time. In the meantime, if you haven't watched www.youtube.com/@StefanTorto I would highly recommend . He has some really great S-1 + Digitakt videos.
@@markyounq Oh, man... that guy has been my inspiration to get into digital music! He is amazing and that is the type of music that really talks to me.
Beautiful!! I hope you soon post the how to do it! Can you produce soundscapes on the S1 sounding like Stars of the Lid?🙏
Nice. I like the changing vignette as well.
Thanks! Glad to hear that as I was going back and forth on it
Big fan of your message. Enjoying the vibes. Stay safe. Keep jammin!
Thanks! I've been watching your videos recently - helped convince me that I wanted to try out the Deluge.

Thanks so much! For its size, it's perfect!

Nice jamming, great sounds - from another S-1 user
thank you! Looking forward to checking out your videos!
When will Roland fix the defect of the S-1 having no MIDI Volume?
Really beautiful set… I am new to hardware synths and trying to learn. A tut on how you did what you did here would be awesome!
Thanks! Are you using an S-1, or are you looking for more general tutorials? I'm planning to do both types over time
