On that "Gotta Move On" transition, I noticed the BPM auto down-shifted without him touching the pitch - is that a feature of Rekordbox on any platform, or specific to the FLX-4?
I was wondering the exact same thing, as I havent tried the FLX-4 so I am not familiar with smart cfx and smart transition. It happens in one more transition in the video as well
2 versions of the same vocal only in a different music genre. So to switch from vanilla to let’s say techhouse you can set your hotcues and play to get it in the same rhythm as the next song
He used the roll feature to capture the loop he made, then he sent the audio to a different channel. It’s just the effect that’s creating the loop now instead of him so that’s why he doesn’t have to press the cues anymore
Tone play I swear is the most difficult transition. Not only does it require timing and knowledge of doing transitions, but also needs a little bit of musicality
if you're getting a controller for recreational purposes like house parties and for fun/to practice, your best bet is a pioneer DDJ FLX4 (~$300). but if you're in the market for an upscale controller to play night clubs and paid gigs at venues, I would go to a music store and re-assess from there with other expertise.
this would be really helpful if I knew whatever his words and or buttons mean. peace of advice, beginners are A. in no ciricumstance going to have equipment that nice and b. woud need more of a breakdown having said that i've been mixing for a bit and def picked up some stuff
Most of these sounded bad. Lost the groove. Too much repeating loops and hits. Completely throws off the vibe of the song and the beat. And the songs didnt blend well.
Crossfader one of your mods just ban me cause i use the Word ‼️ in the music sharing channels the reason why i did that was because i wanted to not miss out from any music SO i could comeback to that message again & again nobody Even talked to me before ban me to Say hey don't do this and would it had definetly never do it, it was perma ban. And i don't have contact to talk to any of them thats why im writting this down here i just wanted to Say i'm sorry that Will never happen again.

The FLX-4 controller does have a smart fader, which allows different bpm measures to match when using the crossfader :p
yeah but the smart fader sucks, i pretty much never use it

Thank you for this! Could you please give us the track names so we can practice along?
Alot of these transitions are on different controllers also .
Sometimes less is more 🤔
Seriously, I’d take good EQ blends over this mess anytime
Hey, Man I have $1000-1200 USD FOR DJ CONTROLLER can you please suggest me the best pioneer dj controller in 2023

Если только учиться играть то сведение не плохое но надо дорабатывать

I haven’t dj’d in 20 years and all these are level 1, nothing new here smh
Troll - I find a lot of these techniques a bit cringe but 20 years ago a lot of these techniques weren’t even possible 😂
Transtiions for any DJ /// Puts transtiions which are impossible on vinyls. Logic!
Lol. Should be named '10 of the CHEESIEST DJ Transitions.' How about just playing some decent tunes instead? 😁
That vid is open for you Karen
I don't think you have to be a fan of the music to understand what the transitions are doing.
adhd core and tunes they found in a skip
@@standarddiamondthat’s true but playing the right tracks is 90% of successful DJing
